Purchased: August 2022 - still works GREAT! ruclips.net/user/postUgkxxsUnXhGsSJLim_XnMHyQK0u3XVaW-CGn I live in a studio and during the summer it gets scorching hot - really old building with no ac units. I can’t express how EASY it was to install. This unit has been a life savior during the summer and some days during other seasons where it can still be a bit warm at night. In this small place is my friend, a husky, poodle mix and myself. We need AC - lolI don’t use the dehumidifier option - I’m not sure if it will leak in my house, since I did not install the small draining hose that came with it. May look into it late but I don’t worry about much humidity in the apartment.I don’t understand why the negative reviews since all things mentioned, I personally did not find issues with. Definitely worth it!
Si que tiene , pero no se como se vacia. Es un tapon negro que tiene detras en la parte de abajo, he intentado quitarlo pero no puedo, no se si tiene que estar lleno para poder vaciarlo
this AC is an actual livesaver, otherday 39 outside 18 inside, imo it's not loud but i guess some people aren't willing to take a small compromise* of noise just so they can breathe. 1.5m away from my chair and setup, noise is easily ignorable and not even noticed. bless for showing where the water tank was, lost the instruction book like a dumbass.
The cooling capacity is 2000w so it will cool a room down equally as fast as a 2000w heater would warm a room up the difference is that it only consumes 750w of electric , so while it is in use it will be using 750w of electric from your outlet
Hi, I bought this one for around 200 EUR but it´s pretty loud, it´s hard to adjust the air flow so that it blows upwards and not in knee height. I´m comparing it to my friend who bought ELECTROLUX EXP26U338CW ChillFlex which is double the price but a huge difference in noise, quality and cooling capacity.
@@gorringeman I doubt that my room is too big. Can´t fit a queen size bed in it. There is a difference and you get what you pay for. Should have bought Electrolux ChillFlex.
Save your money, your emptying it twice a day, buy one that recycles the water, we paid more money, but they just run forever. About £100 more and you can get a 10,000 BTU running at 52DB, it makes a massive difference. 65DB is bloody distracting.
its not sending much heat out of the pipe seems strange my homebase one sent a lot of heat out of the window just the buttons broke with all the use this from lidl i thought would be great but sadly its not if you want cold air sit rite on top of it
thanks for the video, Alfonso, I am considering purchasing this and seeing it here helps a lot. What do you think about the noise? It came out quite loudly on the video, but the perception in the room may be different... what did you make of it? thanks!
Hi Silvio. It is indeed a bit noisy but it works well. I have use it in my home office and in 10 min you can already feel more comfort. I have used it this week with reaching 30 degrees in the room and I was able to bring it down to 24 in one hour. Best
Hola Cesar.
You can order the cloth for the window online at Lidl if you want. I personally didn’t use it because we have sliding windows and it was easier and more efficient to make a wooden panel
Sorry but I see a mistake you make with it. The hose should be straighter and not so bent because then the outlet does not work well and the cooling effect will be lower.
My guess is that you never had a portable ac before? Every one I heard sounds alot, this one is by far NOT the loudest one even tho its cheaper than half price of most other units that I've had my hands on.
Rubbish!! If you don't expel the hot sir through this exhaust pipe out of the room, the room will not cool down!! The condensate collects in a tank which you empty periodically.

I have this one for a year now. Since a few days. I have to emty the water tank like every hour.
Also once it leaked all on the floor
I have just bought one from Lidl, do you just keep receipt and take it back if it goes wrong? - Do you not have to register it online?
Correct, they are very good either speak to them online or go in store IV never had issues with their warranty, very efficient.
Preguta.
Saludos

Thank you I needed it. It's quite loud unfortunately. What is the power consumption? 2000W or 750W ? Information on the box is confusing

@@Classic_Re-creation Is the 2kw the aircon mode and 750w the dehumidifier?
@@markdrummond7 no. It never consumes more that 750W. the 2KW is the amount of heat conversion energy, not electricity.
Do you have to remove the styrofoam in the fan?
I have a qustion..do i need to put water in it?
yeah??? soo
same here
This is a regular airco with compressor. This means that you Don't need to add water.
Question why the airconditioner turn heat and then cool ??

They are all noisy, you need to match the size of the room to the cooler. Maybe your room is too big
@@gorringeman I doubt that my room is too big. Can´t fit a queen size bed in it. There is a difference and you get what you pay for. Should have bought Electrolux ChillFlex.
you just turn the fins upwards with your fingers to get the air blowing upwards instead of downwards, as it mentions in the instructions, , easy!
Hello! Is it necessary to take the hose outside the house?
My environment has no window, is there another way to do this?
Thank you.
no, window or thru some vent..
How often do you need to empty the watertank?
More than once per night?

How do i empty the water reservoir tank?
He says it in the video lol
I'm sure it depends on temperature but how often you need to empty the tank in your conditions?
More or less after 10 hours of use. It also depends how humid is the room
hola una pregunta para ti es bueno el conditioner que te parece a ti ? gracias

I have three air conditioners and that makes no difference in my opinion. It merely takes the hot air away.

The operating noise is unacceptable.
For €160 you can’t go wrong
Agree!

Mine doesn't heat, cool or dehumidify! It just blows air! Waste of money.
Now it's 58 euro in Lidl a year ago it was 200 euro 😂
Lidl in what country?
@@Marco-vn1dbin Romania

7000btu is the lowest powered portable ac you can buy and no way will it cool a 60sq room, a 15000btu only advertise 45sq.its an over priced fan
It's 60 cubic meters, not square meters. So assuming a room with a height of 2.4 meters then it would translate to around 25 square meters.
The pipe is not to make the heat leave the room, it’s too get out the condensation that cooling/air conditioners create.
