    It’s possible that players that left the club have theses investments. Would be interesting to find out if Ashton at Sale and Earl at Quinns have businesses set up while at Saracens. That would be a clear indication it’s not salary cap and it’s not keeping people at the club.

    Unfortunately the best option would be to publish salaries as it's done in North America (except baseball which doesn't have a salary/wage cap). Clubs should be permitted to exceed the cap by a small percentage to resign players who started in their academy, rewarding clubs for development.

    The rules are far too complicated and that allows people to find ways warping and bending the rules. Make things simpler.
