We both anticipated the three second delay of the lights being switched on the tree and you inspired Hazel to decorate our back room dinner table this year too! I was back home in Canada visiting family for all of December and am just catching up on The Buckleys now. Oh my god Claire I TOTALLY get you and the rugs. My rugs always have to be perfect and aligned properly!! Some are even at an angle, but they have to be at the perfect angle 😂

A fantastic scummy year Clair and James of At Home With The Buckleys blogs. I've watched every single one - I'm self-employed, so I can choose when I watch. I'm a definite festive feel person and usually decorate, tree, tree lights, garlands everywhere, but this year I'm spending Christmas with my daughter miles away from home, so I'm just putting a few candles and sparkly bits about.
Can't believe I've been watching yous for nearly a year!! I'm just a mum sat watching other parents do life haha have the best Christmas with those boys ☺️

The funny thing is I completely understand what James was saying about the steamer 😂 I have a similar one and do similar exercises because I sing during shows as well. The strangest people in theatre are always the vocal coaches who make you say and do the weirdest things 😂😂

When you wrap up the lights, use a coat hanger (the kind that's shaped like a triangle with a piece on the bottom) and wrap them around that, the lights can just be unravelled next year, makes it suuuper easy. Future Claire will thank you for doing this!
