I've noticed temps a little lower. Even on track in the heat! I feel it'll benefit even more so with an intercooler paired with the charge pipes but so far so good!
@@CaliforniaKonaN did you have to get the car tuned for everything that you have in it? I know you have the scorcher, is that gonna be something I'll have to get too?
@@keithsyvinski4358 No tune on the car! Reluctant cause the ECU tune easier to trace than the piggyback. All the mods I have the oem parts for so I could go back to stock engine wise in theory. I think the mods are to be in support of adding power (inlet, intake, charge pipes etc). You might get some gains but the items are more to support additional power.

I think thats probably due to the KN being closer in platform than the EN. Outside of maybe the charge pipes I feel there is a good amount of EN parts as well as compared to the KN. Def more aero options and for sure more parts / upgrades will come as the EN is the only ICE N car in NA being sold now that the VN and KN are no longer available for 2024. What parts are you looking for?
@@CaliforniaKonaN I was definitely over reacting in that comment lol but I’d obviously like to see more aero and styling options and I know there is a fair amount of performance parts available but mainly I feel the KN is getting more mainstream treatment with the brands like borla and eibach making some really nice parts that the EN won’t be getting anytime soon.
A mix of going to eBay, Amazon and Aliexpress! If you search Hyundai Kona N Carbon. Some of it was for the regular Kona too but careful cause some of the pieces I had to trim or doesn't have all the sections cutout bespoke to the KN. Which piece in general you lookin for?

Was looking at a photo on their site was that your car and does it get in the way of the stock air cleaner to where you cant use the Load mouth intake?
The photo is Derek's car who was the R&D vehicle before me! The charge pipes were installed with the factory air box so clearance shouldn't be an issue there, and I had the big mouth ram intake installed.

How do you like it? I just ordered their intake, turbo inlet pipe, and hot and cold side charge pipes

@@CaliforniaKonaN I just had my charge pipes installed and I'm getting like a whining noise. Did you get that after installing?
@@keithsyvinski4358 not sure if I had it immediate but after installing the inlet I get more turbo / whine noise for sure!
Nice!! So this is supposed to be paired with the stock intercooler, right?
I believe so! I'm sure it could pair with aftermarket but for testing I just have the stock intercooler!
@@CaliforniaKonaN nice, I was trying to keep the stock intercooler, so this is perfect! Can’t wait to get it
Dope yeah i'll try to make an update post once I hear or see it posted!
