This air check features New York's legendary morning man Don Imus. Don hosted mornings from 1971 to 2018 on 66 WNBC, 660 WFAN, & 77 WABC. You'll hear Don on WFAN, on his first show back after getting married, and being away for his honeymoon. You'll also hear comments in the studio during commercial breaks. This was rebroadcast on TV on C-Span.

I worked with Don Imus’s mother in law when I worked radio in Connecticut..she was a sales person at the station..Dons’ wife was from Waterbury Connecticut..nice lady..I was on the air..

He was exiled to Cleveland. Before the switch from 1050 to 660 some of the 'Fan guys called him "Minus in the Morning"

Imus was fired for good reason, though I liked this flashback. Interesting C-Span would cover this.
It was these C=Span appearances that landed his show on CNBC, then Fox Business.
