I installed the SupremeFX Hi-Fi module and it works flawlessly... Even on Windows 10.. I flashed the hardware with v1.6 firmware, updated the drivers to V1.9.114.23, restarted a few times and it works perfectly fine.
I found the 1.6 FW update. drivers.eu/Mainboards/ASUS/ROG%20MAXIMUS%20VIII%20EXTREME%2FASSEMBLY Search for "1.6" on that page. the V1.9.114.26 drivers are easy to find
There is a Firmware upgrade package on Asus support website. You will find it under the Audio section, but just in case here is the link - dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/01AUDIO/SV3U326WriteEepromMP_20170328_v1p6_EE_ASUS_EndUser_HS_ONLY.zip Also keep in mind that the driver itself is not really utilized, so the only thing you might be using from the driver package afterwards would be the SupremeFX GUI. In my case the Asus driver is not loaded at all but instead some sort of a basic Microsoft USB Audio 2.0 takes place however in Device Manager it still showing "SupremeFX Hi-Fi" as the name of the actual device. I already tried to enforce the Asus driver by manual update, but unfortunately it just refuses to initialize.
I have this but it's annoying because the volume knob prevents me from closing the front panel of my Phanteks Enthoo Primo, is there any custom volume knobs I can get that will let me close the panel, thanks
i have same this and its nice and very load sound u guys downlond the realtek drevir first and after that downloand the SupremeFX Hi-Fi i had same issue in the first time so u should know how to use it
This service never starts for me. Returns error 1503 when I try. But my DAC works fine on V1.9.114.26. I just have to spin the volume wheel up every time to hear anything (ie it doesn't remember my last setting on reboot). Does anyone know how tp up[date the firmware to 1.6?

could you make to work? I'm also with this problem
you should enable “SvAuxSrv.exe” first, it's base on this server. you can find it in SupremeFX_Hi-Fi folder
