Bro, I was born and raised in Darfield. Living in Melbourne at the mo ( fuck lockdown! ).
Love the vids man. It’s a real toss up between the DR650SE and the Honda CB500X.
I’m 5,7’ and the 834mm seat suits me better on the CB500X, but I love the DR650SE for versatility and price. Being that it’d be my 1st bike I’m torn as to which one I would grow into better.
    Any help?

Hey mate good stuff! I guess it all depends on what kind of riding you want to do at the end of the day but being 5"7 shouldnt be an issue. You can get a lower seat if need be. Thanks for watching man.

I thought you were going to bust out with some trials riding. Probably if you fly the drone at a higher elevation it will be able to follow you when you’re going faster? I have no idea.

Haha yeah those trials obstacles look alot more antimidating at ground level for my skill level 😅 and as for the elevation that's a good idea! Il have to try that next time. Especially to avoid some of those trees.

Hey bud, are you keeping the stock muffler. I'm still undersided on mine. I'm thinking of doing the procycle rejet and air box mod and keep the stock muffler.

Hey mate. Good question. I am personally happy with the overall performance of the dr650. And I do prefer less sound. More stealthy leaving a campground at 6am ""if needed"" etc. Although some day If I was to upgrade it would probably be the leovince x3 because it is baffled and doesnt need repacking plus relatively quite. In that case I would reject. Otherwise stock is good for now. Chers

@@NzJohny yeah I'm thinking the same now. I even found taking the snorkel out was a bit annoying, the intake noise is louder than the stock muffler.
