Love your videos honestly have helped me with MW Monk and now Druids. If I had one tiny tiny bit of feedback it would be to timestamp the videos as I always find myself going back to your vids. Which is a win!

@@JaviHeals If I'm not mistaken it's the Glyph of stars right? But if we search for it in the auction for patch 11.0.5 there is no such thing anymore and anyway how do I learn glyph if there are no glyphs ?:D

Eclipse is the reason I don't play my druid anymore. I don't like feral so I was left with Balance as a DPS spec, but it feels so clunky and unintuitive ever since.

Honestly I don't like it either! Luckily I LOVE feral though.

@@JaviHeals I preferred it back in Legion, if memory serves me right. But all of the iteration to it, it feels like the worst to me right now

I start playing moonkin during SL, imo SL moonkin is satisfying and smooth. It has been declining since DF starts.
They took ravenous frenzy, which is a frantic satisfying cooldown; They took stellar drift which gives moving casting; and put dotting at the highest priority. I’m not maining moonkin in 10.0 and 11.0, but whenever I play it in some easy group content, the fight ended when I’m just entering eclipse, or even not finishing dotting. It’s just so clunky, slow and unsatisfying to play moonkin rn, no more adrenaline and smoothness, only boring ramps that took for ever.

Eclipse swapping is not exactly “easy” add in dodging mechanics and all of this goes out the window. I wish Blizzard would buff lunar calling so you could just use that… seems a lot less complicated. No “good” players are using it from what I can see… just tune it so you ignore eclipses all together but your arcane spells are constantly buffed and nature constantly nerfed… I really want a easy ranged mode for times where I can’t tank.

I agree. If you miss the eclipse ending and accidentally cast 2 more ya doomed.. “just get good” people will say but 90% of casuals just want to have FUN lol!!! 🤔

What I wish they set up lunar calling so you could use this playstyle (it works on Destro Lock).
      DOT - Lock = Immolate / Moonkin = Moonfire
      Builder - Lock = Incinerate / Moonkin = Starfire
Spender Single - Lock = Chaos Bolt / Moonkin = Starsurge
Spender AOE - Lock = Rain of Fire / Moonkin = Starfall
If LC was tuned so with just these 4 spells always being cast (no wraths for eclipse) you could top out at around a 75% parse vs the more-high skill builds it would be a fantastic outcome. A top player using all the CD's and playing it optimally hitting around 90% to provide a "easymode tax" would be a good tradeoff I think.
If players think "it's too boring" the LC build would clearly not be aimed at you. Don't take an accessible way to play away from others that would need it for "fun".
IMO Druid should be the default choice for a new player as a taste test on what they may enjoy with more specialized classes. Tank, Heal, Melee or Ranged DPS... They can do it all. Over time they just seem to have gotten more and more complicated.
Look at someone that possibly turns with the keyboard, looks at the bars to remember what button to push or even mouse click the buttons, so struggles to dodge mechanics as they are looking at the bars to see what has lit up, what eclipse they are in so ends up dead.
My Mrs plays (which gives me a good pass on the game) She enjoyed classic SoD druid so come to retail and it was just too much with the eclipse play. She now does random dungeons and doesn't get insta kicked for being a "bot" or "trollin" like she was on her druid. In her spare time she farms herbs, makes potions for raiders to buy and does quests and a few delves, you know the stuff that key pushing M+ / Mythic raiders CBF doing as its "boring".
I put her onto Destro lock and only got her to put those 4 abilities on the bars and she is having a ball. Now she is really comfortable with the lock she is slowly adding a few more in. Fun for some is an absolute head f**k for others. I am a semi-decent tank and tried moonkin to see if I could come up with an easy 4 button LC play, nope! You miss those 2 wraths you are really punished.
