Is it possible to associate contrains to the splines point? I was looking to create a variable spline connecting points moving along three differnt circunferences...

In regards to the example of the USE command with the hole and OFFSET boss diameter; how is the visibility of the relationship between hole and boss detected in the future ?
While it works effectively at the time of drawing; where is the future visibility of the relationship between hole diameter and boss diameter ?
I would much prefer to see a formula than a USE command. The boss diameter would then be a function of the hole diameter.

just starting with Onshore after 5 year absents from AutoCAD. 2 things 1)On my MAC hitting the "esc" key dose not end function like multiple line drawing It respond to the MAC psi and refuses the widow out of full screen. 2) I don't have the plane tool that appears in the upper right-hand corner of the tutorial screen.

Can I ask a few dumb questions? I'm still learning from scratch
1)what is a sketch in this program exactly? Why do we need them...why not just start drawing on the plane? I've made them but have no idea why they exist
2)why use different sketches? doesn't this just make it more confusing which sketch controls which elements?
3)why bother with construction geometry if it doesn't do anything?
    Thanks, I appreciate it

Allow me address points 1 and 2 with an analogy
In Parametric CAD software Sketches are like Recipes and Features are like Food
If you wanted to make lasagna with a side dish of mashed potatoes, you would have one recipe for the lasagna, and another for the mashed potatoes.
Similarly each sketch informs a feature. Sketches should only contain the information needed to make the feature. Otherwise the CAD software wont know which lines of your sketch to use when It comes to creating that feature.
      3
Construction geometry can be given dimensions and constraints just like any other geometry. This makes it useful in defining the location of 'regular' geometry in the sketch. Since it's construction geometry, it wont confuse the CAD program when you're trying to create a feature. So if you want to extrude a box into a cube and you use construction geometry to define how big the box is, the extrude feature will know which lines create the box, and which lines define its size. You might think 'why not dimension the box directly ?' and in many cases that is the right approach, but as you begin to model more complex objects you will find that construction geometry allows you to create sketches that dynamically adjust to changes made higher in the feature tree.
A common use for construction lines is also for mirroring your sketches. So if you want to extrude cut 2 circular holes into a your object you would sketch and define a circle for the first hole, then draw a construction line, and use that line to mirror your sketch. thus creating the second circle. When you go to extrude cut, the feature knows to ignore the construction line, and creates 2 holes where the circles are
      I hope this helps

This is a good instructional but 2 quick critiques right off the bat are this, you seem to go really slow and belabor some very simple concepts. Other times you skip right over things without even mentioning them. One example is creating a rectangle with a size. This is something I am trying to learn right now and you merely said. Just draw the rectangle and "enter a value" well WHERE do you enter this value?? When i try to click on the size value it draws another rectangle. If I escape and then try to click the size , it doesn't let me. For the love of God, how do you edit the size on this? It was so easy to figure out in
sketchup. I have drawn about 20 rectangles trying to figure this out. Eventually I did figure out that you press a number key while drawing but then how do you do the other side?? Another thing I don't see you explain is how to rotate the objects. @30:37 you draw a rectangle-extrude-greencheck (which you said in about 1 second) and then you are rotating it. How do you do that? I tried to select outside the plane and move my mouse but it does not rotate. I have been trying to figure this out for a week. Again, this is something I figured out in sketchup in a matter of minutes.
