Watching Freddie "pretend" wrestle here is eye opening........we would never have gotten the chance to see this without Kenny.

Ken Cheek 💁🏾‍♀️ Actually...Freddie was quite the athlete at St. Peter’s boarding school. He was the all around student in his junior yr ‘n participated in boxing amongs other sports with wrestling likely one of them. That take-down ‘n pin looked like a practiced move ✌🏾!

Ken Cheek Yessss! One of the guys from Status Quo I believe said that in an interview ‘bout Queen’s Live Aid set or was it a interview ‘bout having knowing Freddie. Bono of U2 also said that Freddie had him up against the wall backstage at Live Aid as well but since they were fairly young in their career, I imagine Freddie must’ve been intimating 😂

@@Me-qp8vz I was not aware about military bases. His father, Bomi was a cashier at the British Colonial Office in Zanzibar, a well paid and respected job. They lived an upper middle class life, in a relatively large house with servants on the Island. Due to his father's job and family wealth, they could afford to send Freddie to a prestigious boarding school in mainland India, this was St.Peters (India's answer to an Eton style education). Age 18 Freddie and his family fled to London, due the revolution against the Sultan of Zanzibar and in when thousands of ethnic Arabs, Indians and Parsi (Freddie's family religion) were killed. While at St Peter's Freddie become a very good boxer, winning trophies. He was also good at long distance running and wrestling. When Freddie was on stage you can see he puts so much power into his movements, even for things like air punching. Right up to his illness he had great physical strength and stamina.

      out of control?
what the heck are you talking about
Freddie had been on his radio show previously, Kenny kick started Bo Rap played on the radio
      they were friends
79 Freddie was with Joe, previously with David for 3 years who he had left Mary for
Kenny later had difficulties and was public about having two male partners
what does that have to do with Freddie?
in the 70s Freddie had 3 failed relationships, 1980 he had a bad relationship so went out partying and using drugs more than previously this was mainly in NY
but Freddies life style had no effect on Kenny
