    Thanks man this helped me out a lot. My girlfriend gets weird rashes from some metals so I didn't want to get her a metal ring, plus she likes it when I make stuff for her so this is a bonus. I'm surprising her and giving it to her as a promise ring, she's probably gonna cry with tears of joy when she sees so thanks again^^

    I love your channel and I was bored so I made a paracord ring and finished it with a square Dimond knot. My girlfriend loves it.

    i finally tried this and i love it as a ring, i made it normally and it did seem kinda thick, so i did it again just a few mins ago but a gutted the cord like you did when you did the charger cord wrap and it helps it lie down flat on your finger. love you vids btw, cant wait to try another one

    The actual name of this knot is a turk's head. They can get VERY difficult to tie, but this is just a basic super simple turk's head. google turk's head knots to see some CRAZY ones. Great video demonstrating a basic version of this know either way.

    would it be possible to chain, like, 12 of these together to make... i dunno. something? or would that be a little too tedious considering the small measurements that are being dealt with?

    • @TheWeaversofEternity

    how can I make my paracord ring waterproof ?

    • @dantesinferno8978
      @dantesinferno8978 7 лет назад

      Shorty Ghantous Well I have military grade cord so it is naturally water proof but however most paracord is usually water proof anyways. If yours isn't it is either not real cord or it is not very strong cord. Cheers and good luck.

      Squall FFFC You can definitely do that! I just didn't think of it at the time. Great idea!

    • @Esperologist

      Thank you, after reading this I pulled the cores and was able to shove the sleeve ends into each other which solved my problem with getting the ends to melt to each other. Far easier with one end inside the other... now, to find something to do with the cores.
      To make this ring, I don't pre-cut a length, I just use the end of my supply and make the ring using the end (only one end is used in the weaving anyway) and cut so I have enough length to shove a bit of one end in the other... then I dismantle, gut and re-assemble. I don't like wasting if I can find a way to avoid it.
