Time has passed since then, the dev team still continued to improve the game, and it's much better now than it was at launch. The Fallout TV series even gave the game a revival and the perception of the game has changed as well.
You should get Fallout New Vegas. Bethesda did not develop it and they not so secretly hate NewVegas, the fans, and the devs (Obsidian), because NewVegas made Bethesda look like the hacks they are. Even worse Bethesda had every opportunity to improve but absolutely refused to learn anything from NewVegas (except improving gunplay) and instead doubled down on their mistakes from Fallout3 and Skyrim. They’ve been really successful but only through a staunch policy of baiting in new players who don’t know any better while simultaneously alienating older fans. The show is hands down the worst offense yet. It’s basically Bethesda saying the quiet part out loud because instead of setting the show on the East coast which is where all the Bethesda fallouts take place, they set the show on the west coast which is Interplay/Obsidian lore territory. And they absolutely sh*t all over that lore with their indescribably horrible writing. Fallout 1, 2, and new Vegas are the only real fallouts. Fallout 3 is worth playing too because it’s got great atmosphere but buy it used because Bethesda doesn’t deserve to profit from a franchise they don’t respect and they only view as a money machine.
2024 and Fallout 76 is still here, so when did it fall. Haters gonna hate, and it's an opinion of some self appointed experts who should make there own game if they are that good.
I'm a single player. It's not my job to make games nor do I have the time or resources to make any. What's the massive corporation's excuse? There's indie devs out there that make better games than whatever this mess was.
The game is still ass btw and people are coping HARD about it. This happens with every Bethesda release. Fallout 4, Starfield, even Skyrim back in the day. Overhyped nonsense and then it comes out and it sucks and then hard reset next game. Bethesda fans deserve the awful content they keep getting because they don't learn and just eat up the slop. Every time. New Vegas they just outright tried to sabotage because it wasn't made in-house by Bethesda it was by Obsidian. It's the only good 3D Fallout.
Fallout 76 was never "hyped", and you're delusional if you think it was. It was hated by most of the fanbase which are basement-dwelling man-children before the game even released. The fact that you couldn't even get this part right says a lot. You haven't touched the game, I can tell. You're just another FO fanboy that lives through what you see on the internet. True "cope" if I've ever seen it.
EW you watch and like the show? And won't play New Vegas? Yeah, THIS is why men gate-keep IPs they love. Not only is the show NOT canon to ANY of the games, but NV wasn't developed by Bethesda. Commenting before watching, expecting many annoying cuts as usual.
Glad i was wrong.
Thank you, I paused the video before watching because those cuts are just so terrible I'm not watching another one. Happy to hear it's cut free.

Found one of Todd's sleeper agents.
EW you watch and like the show? And won't play New Vegas? Yeah, THIS is why men gate-keep IPs they love. Not only is the show NOT canon to ANY of the games, but NV wasn't developed by Bethesda. I'm so done with normie women trying to enter male dominated spaces/hobbies/interest at this point, it's such a cancer. Can you all just stop?
Ayo Zeus ma GUUUURL, you on dat ancient video streak
