I like the size that are on it now.
With the wheels you should look for the same exact rims just bigger if you can’t find them then just keep the same rims on the truck
I have a Ryan's Diesel Turbo and you are right, hands down the best out there.
I seen all his of his trucks in person and passing them on the road and omg he definitely puts alot of time and pride in his vehicles love the trucks and content keep it up

You need to use prismatic powder. Turns out way better. More glossy and smooth finish. Also only has to bake 10 min with the part at 400

Heck my 2006 6.0 powerstroke just hit 181,000 miles with no real problems. It’s tuned , egr deleted with a 5” straight pipe , 6” lift on 35’s. It is a daily driver and hasn’t seen much towing . I use Rotella T6 oil every oil change with Wix Oil filters. I had regular stuff go wrong like wheel bearings , 1 Ficm was toasted due to old bad batteries which was my own fault. I’m not bulletproofed with studs or blue spring modded. I run diesel kleen every tank and I change fuel filters, oil etc on time. I keep hearing about head gasket issues and constant shop visits but at almost 200,000 miles with it being driven like a sports car I would have to argue with the horror stories. Heck even my HPOP is still factory lol
Nitto Grapplers for tires and leave the wheels just polish them up really well
Change the plastic cold side tube they split at the bellows on the bottom low boost
I recommend Kendra kelver rt for tires but I would keep the same rims keep it old school but I like the small rims big tire look I run the kelver rt on my daily driver love them

You could always powder coat those wheels red, color match... and some 44 super swampers on them would really make it a 6.0 beast
Go with the 40's... Nitto... Goodyear... Same rims but.... clean them up and tape off some and paint match to highlight. That would look sharp 👌

@@mathew18truck ? 🤔 keep the current set of rims/ wheels. Don't go to 20's... stay with what Hammer chose. 40 inch tall tires. Suggested brand... Goodyear or Nitto... perhaps even Micky Thompson. Clean up the rims... polish .. tape off the large areas and paint [to match] the inside edges. Enough to provide a highlight effect, providing a contrasting trim. Upgrades the rims. But they are still the original rims.

I’m running Gear heads Srl+ On my sct great low end really nice daily though I wish I didn’t have early lock up on it feels clunky…but it does make it feel faster the tow tune feels silky smooth
Yes see if a wheel company can make you some 20's like the wheel already on it, I have an 05 F-250 XL Single cab, getting alot of mods, Mishimoto radiator, Mishimoto intercooler, Mishimoto transcooler, Mishimoto upper and lower radiator hoses, Fluidamper, headers, Alpha dog hot and cold pipes, 150cc injectors, 4 to 5 inch straight pipe exhaust, BD up-pipes, egr delete, head studs, 4:10 posi, Air dog II-4G, Wick wheel 2, New union veins, etc, that is just the engine and rearend . Was my dads work truck!

The new RDS turbo doesn't seem to come through the video as sharp as the old 03 turbo, which of course makes watching more enjoyable.
What's wrong with smaller wheel's? Less mass, smoother ride, don't get stuck as easy. My 03' still rockin 16's with 37' X 13s wish my stance was another 1'' or 2 '' but then wheel bearing issue's.
That creeper that you use over top. Does it collapse so you can hang it up? Been working on my truck and my back is killing me

Love those 6.0’s, they get a lot of flack, even from Ford guys but I loved mine, it was screaming quick! Now I’m lovin my 6.6 Duramax!

I actually bought a single cab 6.0 and I love the truck, was a Chevy guy but after seeing hammers truck I had to purchase it. Love your videos man have been watching all the way back when your Chevy was black and you were installing the smaller truck/train horn!

How does the 64 mm perform as far as lag and towing max weight either on your DMax or the 6.0Can't decide on 61mm or 64mm for my 6.0?

I didnt know hammer and i don't know you or your family personally. been watching the channel for years i think he would be happy to see you mod the truck because it made him happy to mod the truck if you want bigger rims try it out just don't get rid of hammers rims lol hang on to them. just my opinion. great video !!!

Stacks are ok on some trucks but not this one. I would re route the exhaust. Also, more tire less wheel . With those fender flares havin to stay on, I think thats the way to go. Truck sounds great Mr. Master!!

With fender flares you have to keep the old school big tire/small wheel combo. It won't look right with low pro tires and big wheels.

Idk if it’s just me but it sounds like whatever tune you have on isn’t giving full potential, it sounds good at low RPMs but up top it sounds like it’s getting slightly choked. I have a 6.0 and mine even at higher RPMs just gets even louder

How does this turbo you installed compare to the KC stage 2?
Look at blessed performance tunes the ecobeast street and tow are top notch. There extreme tune is down right nasty! The owners name is Matt. Let him know I sent you. Also from one disabled vet to another thanks for your service sir! I'm a Michigander as well Newaygo county area.

You need to leave the wheels and tires the same. You can upgrade parts and fix and clean up the truck but it needs to be done the way it is now and not change much. If u going back to ur last video before this one I tell u about u painting the parts u did. This is why the grill got messed up and ur going to have to fix it because u didn’t prime or seal the parts before u painted them the paint isn’t going to stick even tho u sprayed a plastic adhesion promoter 1st witch was the right thing to do but u need primer or sealer before paint.. I have the KC stage 2 in my truck and I put a lot of bullet proof parts on mine. Not much after market parts will fit right. I painted my OE pipes because the aftermarket ones didn’t fit or looked right.. I wouldn’t put much aftermarket parts on the 6.0L If u do ur going to have problems thanks to ford having Patent on everything.
I'll be the outlier - I'd keep the wheel that your FIL put on it - do the 20s and 40s on something else. Love the content!
That air filter is putrid...let a new turbo run dirty air? Totally love the content but isnt that against previous video? Reasons why turbos fail? Just curious not hating.

Do some 22x14 or 20x14 with 38x15.50 tires. That truck looks dang good with the paint match job. I honestly think it made the truck. Some newer big wheels with 38s will look great!

Those stock turbos turn into laggy pigs after not too long with the unison ring getting all focked up. I got about 45k on a new one and its already time to fix it...
You should put a 9 blade on your 6.0 now
20s on 40s you still have sidewall. Get a rim similar style.

Dude tge 6.0 and 6.6 sound the same when doing the burnout except at idle
Keep the small wheels. Big wheels suck power through parasitic loss, the further out on the radius it is the more you lose.
