Love listening to Demeco. You can tell why his players love him. He is always even keel he never gets to far up or down. What you saw in the interview is the calming presence he exudes on the sideline for his team. Great leader.

He's terrible at drafting and evaluating talent (see 21/22 drafts and moves). Often overpays in trades and drafts. He's lucked into a lot of this. He owes his career to Demeco and CJ for saving him.

A franchise qb does have that impact but I can't take nothing away from DeMeco, he's got his guys playing hard every week. McVey and Goff is maybe the only other time I can think of where it might have lined up the same kind of way.

When I saw interviews with Demeco and Nick Caserio, I'm thinking these guys know how to talk the talk and if half of what they're saying comes to fruition then it's going to be good in 3 years or so and definitely light at the end of the tunnel. Now you get Demeco to rub off on CJ and Will Anderson, then that aggressive offense and swarming defense is all about making plays, now all of sudden we have playmakers, all elevating their level of play. I haven't seen anything like this since Harbaugh took over the 49ers with his "Whose got it better than us...nobody". Demeco has taken that to the next level, as you can tell he wants to be on the field. This don't happen very often Texan fans, so sit back and enjoy!!!

After 6 seasons as the 49ers LB coach and DC, I hated to see DeMeco leave. When Robert Saleh left to be the HC of the NYJ,
the defence didn't miss a beat - in fact, and with adjustments, he took the defence to another level - which isn't an easy task.
I was glad when he declined further interviews, withdrew his name as a possible HC candidate, and stayed on for the 2022
season … because not all opportunities in the NFL, are created equal. Call it fate or whatever you may, but that choice opened
the door for the Texans to come calling, and bring DeMeco home to H-Town, where his pro career began.
Life in the NFL offers no guarantees … however, I truly felt that given the chance -- and with patience from the GM/Owner -- he
would turn the fortunes of the franchise around within 2.5 to 3 seasons. Seemingly, the Texans are a little ahead of the curve,
due to hitting on their franchise QB in the draft.
Lots of harsh words were spoken when the Texans won what appeared [at the time] to be a meaningless game - but right about
now, the reality is this, that #2 pick is looking really really good. As of this post, the Texans sit in 2nd place in the AFCS, and hold
the 7th-seed Playoff Berth - who would have thought it possible, including die-hard fans !?
Their 8 remaining games will be interesting. No matter the outcome if I had a vote, it would go to DeMeco for the COTY Award
    🤔
