The acro got the respect he needed by getting his own spotlight. Can’t wait for the improved variations coming in the later DLCs
It actually already has one variation, the Ascended Acro. Every Acro has a 10% chance of spawning in as one instead of a regular Acro, only difference is the patterning but they look super cool (You can see one in the background of the fight with the dragon).

Clearly pvp outlook 😂 this spotlight shows pve nothing of any value yeah another meat eater that turns sideways to tank bullets oh wait that's pvp guess you could walk sideways with it in pve to look cool so glad this spotlight had 1 single mod to show why would we want more than 1 pvp focused dino mod not like there another game mode for ark we can just pretend it's all about pvp as usual oh don't forget they added special rates for official servers to celebrate animated garbage cartoon that's region locked 90% of the world out of watching yeah let's give official servers some rates while everyone renting servers of there own sitting here like um OK thanks I guess what a let down of a week Jesus

Amazing. The acro got the respect it deserved. Let's be honest, the acro is just something wildcard should add as a creature in the base game. Similar to the gigantoraptor. Still a mod, but an official one.

Acro mod is 100% one of the top 5 mods I've used. No disrespect to the time that loads of people put in on their mods but Acro is wildly high quality.
I also love Brachy but mainly because of the taming method.

Was surprised this wasn’t included at release along with the other additions but with Scorched coming next week it makes sense. Does this mean the Concavenator is dropping next week? Or that holding off until Abberation.
Arco was intended, but it's TLC got major delayed and other issues it, similar to the Brachi TLC that was meant to have a Wooly variant. Concavenator is awaiting the Scorched update and an overview of the new sand-swimmer dude, and Crylo was having port issues iirc the latest announcements.

It's insane how Garuga and Wildcard have come to an agreement to make his creation essentially added into the base game.
I'm hoping that acro is the revealed mystery creature that is going to be added along side cera in the first itteration of the update.

Unpopular opinion:
I'm not sure if I like the new Acro, I much prefer the ASE one. The stomp attack on the new Acro looks a bit off, as well as the adrenal roar too. Idk, I'm not sure if I like it personally, but good job nonetheless!
yeah tbf its just the stomp animation and the adrenaline roar animation that look weird. but other than that it's perfect, i prefer the ASA one

The Ark Additions mod didn't include the Acro for Ark Survival Ascended originally, as they wanted to give it a TLC for the jump to UE5. They updated pretty much everything, except maybe the roar. It's still the Acro everyone knows and loves though, tame method is practically the same and all of its old abilities are there.
