More tips:
1.Do the questions which carry more marks first.
2.Always, always recheck the paper.
3.Keep marking the questions on the question paper like tick mark when you're done with the question and a circle when the question is remaining and needs to be reviewed.
4. Do not panic, it makes you anxious and nervous which will lead you to even forgetting the things you know very well.
5. Get a good amount of sleep on the night before your examination
6. We tend to skip the instructions on the paper, always take a look at it, there might be something important you could miss and regret later.
Anyways, that's it and I'm saying this with a lot of experience, I've had bad and good experiences.

One correction ,never read exam paper completely , coz of that we lose our confidence and we forgot those answers which we learnt and know

Being a topper I suggest you to never read the whole paper in the starting it will give to stress if you don't know any one question out of the whole paper. Ur mind will stuck to it and u will not be able to focus on other questions well.
Use reading time for passage in eng/Hindi ,case based in maths and science and mcqs in rest subjects.
