Very interesting, thanks Greg....by the way my doggo Dexter becomes fixed on the video when you start to talk and looks until you stop talking....funny as hell! You got a voice my friend!
My worst gripe with this body is the neck hole. The neck that comes designed for the body is very thin because if you use a head with a neck and the neck is normal in thickness the plastic from the back of the neck hole impedes the neck to stay straight. So if you want to use this body with a different neck than the one that comes with it the head will be looking down all the time. Or you can cut the plastic, but then you must use it on clothed figures. I really dont understand this design choice. The body has many good things but in the end can mostly be used with clothes on. Also they dont give the tin can and the stand any more.
I agree and that's why I ended up trimming some of that back portion. I think they made it that way to fill out the clothes more 🤔 I don't typically display my figures without their clothes so it works well for my purposes. It does suck that they got rid of the tins but it's understandable considering the shipping problems they had with them. Thanks for the comment! 😊🙌
I am waiting to see if there going to different body types. Based on the images I have seen and that fact this on is labeled "narrow shoulder," I think there are different body types in plan. I have been trying to find a double jointed body that has large enough arms without being overly muscular, so I can replace the body on my 1/6 dark furyan (Riddick) figure. The original body is crappy and I snapped the shoulder joint trying to get to do a t pose. The shoulder joint on the original body just naturally had limited articulation based on other reviewers testing the articulation. I just bought a soldier story 1/6 muscle type to see how looks, and a 23toys muscle type (not the ripped one), though it has single joints so It would lacking articulation. If the Maha makes a version with wider shoulders and slightly larger arms, then it might be a good fit as replacement body for my Riddick figure.
That's true and a good point to bring up. If they do make other physiques I hope they make slight modifications to the neck and shoulder area. Have you looked into the old hot toys body from their terminator figure by any chance? It may be too large for Roddick but I think it's got a decent range of motion while maintaining that larger look. I was planning on getting one of those for my doom guy but never got around to it since it's kinda pricey. It's worth looking into though 🤷🏻♂️
