Wow this has encouraged me so much. It’s such a desire of mine to know and walk with the Lord. But I am guilty of seeking after His presence through encounters mostly. I’ve been blessed to have had many encounters with Holy Spirit but they alone have not been sustaining my relationship with Lord. I read the Bible but I don’t consume it like Pastor William says to. This definitely encourages me to dive in deeper and seek the Lord through his word. What a joy and hope to know when we seek to be near to Jesus we can find Him in His Word. Seems so obvious but never have I believed the reality of it til now. I just love this message so so much. It has blessed me so much and I will listen to again!! Bless you Pastor William!
The scriptures that really opened my eyes was 1 Samuel 3. I received Jesus in my heart when I was 12 and had a tangible experience of the Holy Spirit washing over my entire body. Later that night I heard a still small voice call my name. At 23 I gave my heart to the Lord and I was reading 1 Samuel 3 when it hit me and I felt the Holy Spirit just as I did when I was 12. The thing that blew my mind was Samuel was also 12 when the word of the Lord was revealed to him. I fell in love with the word and always look to the scriptures to hear His voice.
