I agree! Autumn is the most beautiful season. I really love the colors and how they contrast with green grass and white mountaintops. Thank you for sharing!
Before watching your videos, I never saw many autumn videos of Switzerland. It is beautiful, and interesting that the pine trees turn yellow and lose their needles. My yard has lots of northern pines, but they are evergreens, with no color change or shedding. Bergun is a nice village, and I am continually amazed these small villages produced enough wealth to build these large beautiful homes. The iconic viaduct is amazing, with the gorgeous red Swiss trains (I believe the Bernina Express is the one on this route, which I have not been on), but only 4 minutes difference between the two oncoming trains - shows hoe precise the Swiss train schedules are (if this was Italy, e.g., there would be a crash several times a week with such a tight schedule!) You do such a nice job on your videos. Have you ever considered leading small groups to these gorgeous, less-traveled parts of Switzerland? You know the country, and love the country, and have a nice personality - so I am sure they would be a hit! I know I would sign up! Curious as to why you moved to Singapore? Like Switzerland, it is clean, financially astute and expensive, but no mountains, lots of humidity, and not as much natural splendor. NOT sure how widely spoken English is there, or have you learned the Malay language? Best wishes, and keep making these great videos. Iove them, and I like you!
Hi Jimmy. Thank you very much for your very detailed feedback to my video! Yes, it's amazing how these villages turned out to be so beautiful. I think back in the days, people were more attached to the place they stayed at. These days we take our car to spend our time in the cities or we go on holidays abroad. The people of the past probably spent their time making their homes more living and decorated their facades. The old architecture had style, modern one is mostly only practical; not much more than that. English is widely spoken in the Engadin but probably not much in the Parc Elà. I speak Bahasa Melayu, but it's not a language of importance in Switzerland. It's more useful in the Indomalay archipelago, where I stayed for 5.5 years before I moved back to Switzerland.
@@DjemoGraphic glad you moved back to Switzerland. It is good to travelmand explore the world, but Switzerland I'd such a great place. Beautiful! Thank you for sharing. Do you still remember how long it took you to walk to the North side view of the Landwasser Viaduct from the parking lot? I was in Filisur for a week in 2019, but didn’t get to go to the North side view since I was afraid of the hike😀 Thanks again for the video. Greetings from New Jersey. Actually I was original from Indonesia, now live in the US for the last 44 years.
It's super beautiful!! I've been obsessed with autumn colours this year as well. So seeing your video was fantastic! Especially love the lake where it begins to snow on to the water and onto the yellow pines :D
Hi Darshani. Thank you very much for your nice comment. I will upload a few more autumn videos here. Next will be about Southern Switzerland :) I agree, the lake was quite a highlight. Very lucky to have been there at the right time.
Looks like a collaboration of 2 seasons:) You captured the colorful of autumn on the white snowy day perfect:) Thank you for everything you've done for this great video. I appreciate it A LOT:) Was Harry Potter in the train?:)
Yup. Indeed a pleasant amalgam of Autumn and Winter. Like a christmasy Autumn :) Thanks a lot for your nice comment. There was no Harry Potter, but Albus Severus Potter :) :P
