@@greenman2273 thank you so much, I have been trying to make waves using mantaflow as well, but no matter which way i push the water, it's really hard to generate waves
@@greenman2273 well, I just succeeded making waves by setting up the scene like you did, But there's a new problem now, as the time goes on, my water will get lesser and lesser, but the water will be fine if I removed the pusher, I really don't know what's wrong with that
@@Zhaoyang_Gao Glad I could help. I too am unsure why waves are tricky to simulate in mantaflow, possibly still not high enough res, but i don't have a super computer haha. The problem you have with the volume of liquid can be remedied by changing the "Particle Radius" in the domain settings. My sim actually gains volume over time for some reason. If your sim "leaks" volume, then raise this value. Hope this helps.

The resolution divisions is 200.
Randomness is 0.000
& narrow band width is 20
I think the rest of domain settings are default. Hope it helps.
