    They should really just add these in the game I was legit looking for a wall similar to these to use inside my apartment. I am very surprised they don't have any at all.

      Thank you, and sorry for the late answer.
      You have to use the subcomand glitch in order to place windows on partitions.
      I explain it in this video (ruclips.net/video/ZvImxUO5fdk/видео.html) at 4:24 !
      I hope this will be helpful.

    These are amazing! But I had a question: what do you mean by 'item efficiency'?

    • @mikanyay
      @mikanyay Год назад +4

      it likely means the number of items needed to achieve the window. Since you have a max limit of items in housing, using too many slots is "expensive".

    • @seimiyak.3548
      @seimiyak.3548  Год назад

      Thank you!
      And to answer your question, this is exactly what Blood Sarkura explained bellow : "Item efficiency" represents how item consuming a door is. The higher it is, the heavier on items slots. Since we have a limited number of item slots in housing, we have to keep that in check ^^

      Hi. It is difficult to answer without seeing it, but my theory is that you set it up too close to a wall or partition.

    do all these builds have the default chandeliers completely blocked out? if so how do u keep the brightness?

    • @seimiyak.3548
      @seimiyak.3548  2 года назад +2

      I am not sure to understand your question, so I will try to answer it based on what I understand (sorry if this doesn't help) :
      I don't use the default chandeliers of a house in any of my builds. I create custom chandeliers or lights with a couple of various items. I usually put the lighting at either 0, 1 or 2. To make a build bright, I add windows to get natural lights, but also (and most importantly) I hide stable top lights in the custom ceiling.
      I hope this answer your question. Please let me know if it doesn't !

      Hello, if you are referring to the sliding window (Shoji) in itself, then it is as Samurai Cake stated, and those are Fools Thresholds. If it is not, would you mind being more explicit so I can help ?

    • @sillen8612
      @sillen8612 2 года назад +3

      I know this is a 4 month old comment, but just in case you never got your answer - Fool's Thresholds are from a vendor unlocked by completing the Doman Enclave restoration from the Stormblood expansion. It doesn't require a crafter or gatherer, just weekly donations. This vendor also has the indoor pink trees (as seen in the first shoji), the sake set, and a few other housing items.

    for these designs can a rectangle wall be substituted for the demon walls?

    • @seimiyak.3548

      @@seimiyak.3548 awesome ty for the response currently working on my personal home with a mix of bamboo forest boardwalk into a tea room, that then splits off into my 1 bdm studio appartment with access to a grander version of the waterways for the basement among 100s of other ideas seeping in. these tutorials have opened up my options rather than simply using the low cost gaol partition and stage panel builds

      @@treckaartisan4871 That sounds exciting !! I’m glad my guides were of some help to you ^^ tbf, I’m not so fond of using those gaol partitions as shoji… it does the job, but you don’t get the wooden texture of the irl ones and idk I really like these haha

      @treckaartisan4871 Год назад +1

      @@seimiyak.3548 100% I'm honestly thinking of only using them for overhang windows or more to the point the railings around the boardwalk. that being said unfortunately the boardwalk section isn't my idea but a rendition of Ririko's work and depending on my item count I may switch to the low item cost version of simply a troupe stage rather than the used banquet tables as the "deck" area

    • @seimiyak.3548
      @seimiyak.3548  Год назад

      @@treckaartisan4871 Item efficiency is always the most difficult thing to deal with in housing, but I find it especially annoying when building traditional Japanese designs.
      Most designers, much like Ririko, end up doing a mix of "cheap" and "expensive" (efficiency-wise), and a lot just go with the cheap options because we can't possibly have details and space... So I end up building detailed japanese shoeboxes because I just can't stand the though of saving items if it means I won't have that one texture I like lol but that's just me, people in general prefer the other options anyways haha
