To me, the biggest jawdrop was when Tanjiro used Thunderclap and flash. Was a badass moment and went full circle to how the sun breathing he uses is the root of other forms, including thunder
A lot of people hated that moment saying it was an as*spull but what they all forgot is that Sun Breathing is the first created original form. All other breathings came from Sun Breathing so it makes sense that Tanjiro is able to use the basics of other breathing styles if he gets a detailed explanation on how they work. This in return also allows him to master Sun Breathing to an even higher level because he is leaning the bits that didn't get passed down or got lost at some point during the 300+ years his family kept the breathing style alive.

While I didn’t dislike him using Thunderclap, your comment makes me like a lot more because I forgot all forms are derived from Sun Breathing. Plus nobody ever said that it wasn’t possible to learn another style. It’s just whatever the user feels more comfortable using. Tanjiro initially was using water breathing techniques so it never bothered me.
Gotta love Tanjiro just finding angy boys and domesticating them. First Inosuke, now Genya...
He shines not only when fighting, and we all love to see that🤩🤩🤩🤩

I love that Hantengu’s flashback doesn’t make him sympathetic. He’s just a pathetic man who does horrible things and then convinces himself that he’s the victim and everyone else is bullying him.
She moves like a rhythmic gymnast with a ribbon. Only the ribbon is her sword. It's such a cool idea for a weapon. I used to compete as a rhythmic gymnast and that ribbon is very difficult to master.
It's actually not an idea it's a real life weapon but it's not known well because very few people have been able to use it without harming themselves
The only reason I know it’s a real fighting style and has weapons made like this for that style is because one of my friends had a character in D&D that fought like this. Always stuck out as a sick as hell concept for fighting, and also made sense to me because whips are also a thing, so being able to utilize a rope/ribbon like weapon isn’t too strange.

When I heard Genya yell, "SHINE!," I knew right then and there that that was Bakugo's VA. That "SHINE!" is way too recognized. Also, the OP is absolutely amazing.
oh, mitsuri and rengoku sharing the same vibes is no coincidence XD. she was actually one of the only students of his who got through his harsh training in the rengoku gaiden, a sidestory about how rengoku became a hashira. so yes, the two of them were once student and teacher turned close friends!!!
it's wholesome to see how Rengoku's positive influence lives on despite his early passing. A true inspirational hero:')
The best part about the sword making is that it's actually realistic forging. Like that is what you see when someone is forging a sword irl
isn't it so cool to see more realistic parts being incorporated into animes? they add such a nice touch and it's cool to see people discuss about said elements online too

I mean it must be based on the Urumi but I do love how the animators changed the shape sometimes to be cool and pretty 😊

Something that needs to be said is how absolutely ham voice actors can go with their range. I couldn’t believe that gyokko and mista shared a VA!! I love those videos for how you bring attention to the other well know roles of these voices that people like me don’t realize!👏👏
It's interesting to hear whose voice actors/actresses played what other roles. I usually don't pay much mind to it, but watching these videos makes me appreciate those little fun facts.
Yeah, i couldnt believe iida shared a VA with one of the hantengu clones
It's all in proper use of the diaphragm, which is one reason I can't stand dubs. English VAs almost never use their diaphragms, so they can almost never put real emotion into it. They do "stage" emoting, getting volume but no depth.
plus 100 Wins for Kanao expressing her emotions out of her own free will and an additional 50 for raising her voice out of concern for a sleeping Tanjiro.

The best part of season 3 for me was the love Hashira. And this time it was for actual plot. When i first saw her i was 10000% sure it was gonna be some twist on the love part like obsession or something. The simple fact that she was raised with love and despite a few idiots in her life she simply wanted to help others and not because her family died or something. Shes a pure cinnamon bun if i ever saw one. I also love the fact that at first it looks like she uses a light flexible sword only to then realize that the sword is solid steel and only bends like a ribbon because of her absurd strength.
Thats a real good point on the whole love angle, really was so touching too her backstory

For anyone confused, the reason nezuko didn’t die in the sun is the same reason she didn’t attack Tanjiro in episode one. Reasoning explained later
the fact that Mitsuri held on that long on her own against UPPER 4 in his "ultimate" form just goes to show how strong she really is. Even if she almost died at the end there 😅😅
It's interesting that you mention getting the same feeling from Mitsuri that you got from Rengoku because, fun fact, Rengoku was her mentor in becoming a Hashira. It was covered in a side novel. Also, secondary fun fact, her Love breathing is an offshoot of fire breathing that she developed also in the side novel.
I'll be honest, it was nice to see that Hantengu and Gyokko were just pure evil demons for once. Don't get me wrong, I love the tragic backstories of Rui, Daki, and Gyutaro, but it was starting to get predictable that they'd give the demons sympathetic backstories. Not this time. Sometimes an evil thing is just an evil thing.
LOVED This season. Tanjiro, muichiro and best girl mitsuri were the highlights❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉

Win - 240: I would also add a win to how delicate his fingers were animated. For something as a small, lightweight fighter with "mist" in his style, having those delicate, almost musician-like fingers, fits perfect with his personality when the past season we had the musclebound, bombastic sound Hashira.
This season was pretty good I don’t know why a lot of people said it was bad

They hate it bc they think it’s weirdly paced and deus ex machina. While pacing is definitely subjective and understandable, the “deus ex machina” is just kinda what the manga goes. As an adaptation, it’s extremely faithful so there’s not much you can do about the plot. I didn’t really care for gyokko anyways

While I wasn't the biggest fan of Demon Slayer in Season 1, the longer this show continues the more I come to appreciate how it tells it's story and writes its conflicts.
I feel like S1 in terms of writing is just second to S3, not saying that S2 is bat though.
I love your channel it felt like it’s gone from a parody channel to a genuine review channel with a bit of fun thrown in, also bro I won’t spoil but prepare your self for the final season because goodness gracious it’s going to be epic and extremely sad just good god.

I read the mangaka mouths ago as this season started coming out, hated spoiling it for myself but dear god max wins might be pushed to 3 in the near future. It’s not just animation, it’s flowing emotion that hits harder than Tanjiro’s head!

I feel like you missed two wins: (1) Nezuko's concern when Tanjiro passes out with relief. (2) Mitsuri's shock when Nezuko speaks. Honestly, we just needed to hear a few more "yokata ne"s.
I always liked muichiro from his 1st appearance in season 1 but this season just made me love him definitely one of my top 3 demon slayer characters
This season definitely had some of my favourite moments in all of demon slayer. Muichiro is my favourite hashira right now and the way he annihilated gyokko was incredible to watch. Mitsuri was also a really likeable and cool character, but most of all seeing tanjiro's growth has been the highlight of the season. Can't wait for the Hashira training arc!
Something I noticed, or possibly just imagined, is Douma's expressions. They just seem, different, compared to everyone else.

I can’t wait for season 4. All of these seasons have been amazing and I’m excited to see what ufotable does next.
Something that I liked about the sword in the doll reveal is that the doll falls to its knees, leaning forward almost like it's presenting the sword, or at least that's what it seemed like to me.
This series made Tokio my favorite hashira however rengoku will always have a place in my heart more then the other hashira's
Rengoku will always have a special place in my heart as well. Can't help getting teary eyes watching any flashbacks with him in it...

i still find funny the animators desperate to animate a goated fight with mitsuri AND make sure we dont see anything under her skirt 😂
I love the fact that each version of Hantengu is voiced by a different VA. The attention to detail to make every variant feel unique all the way down to the voice is just really nice.
I also appreciate the lack of those horrible fish monsters and their awful moaning. I hated every scene they were in.

Fun fact, I believe she was actually trained by Rengoku in the past! She was trained in Flame Breathing by him and eventually developed Love Breathing off of that!
I would suggest... His ability to detect oncoming attacks after going on without food and water is a callback to first season when it was mentioned that the Hasira's have trained themselves to death and then defied death. Same with Tanjiro, he started crossing into afterlife (to death) and defied death (attack detection).

I’ve always loved that Mitsuru’s story isn’t yet another bloodstained tragedy. Like, I don’t have anything against that, but it does get a little predictable after a while.
Everything about this season was amazing. So many tears in the final moments.
13:10 she was actually rengoku's pupul. He was so great that he emanates his warmth through his pupuls. Rip the goat.
What I really liked about Muichiro is that in the beginning his memories were misty and not clear, connecting this to him being the *mist* hashira, but later on, after "waking" up, the mist from his memories disappeared.
I find this really interesting and I love this detail about his character.

The scene at the end reminded me of Naruto Shippuden at the end of the Pain arc when everybody finally accepted Naruto. It was really well done.
Even tho I know what's happens in manga, it still gets me on the edge of my seat every week and that's why I love demon slayer I went anime only till the end of s2 and I just couldn't stop so I decided to reading the rest and still get goose bumps with how they do it
I really enjoyed this season of demon slayer you honestly held me appreciate things when it comes to art, the VA's, the background music and how it all comes together. I always just watched it for entertainment but because of you I began to appreciate the effort out into it all. Such a great video and tysm for putting forth the effort to entertain us as well.

The Sound on Tanjiro's last Swing sent shivers down my Spine the first time I've heard it. And it still does. Really makes it apparent that he put 110% in that Attack

this seasons was not top fight like last season but i loved it more for the emotions and the drive within this season. the emotion was the best part of the season

Win 71 13:16. I really like this one because idk if he knows this, but Mitsuri is the student (Tsugoku) of Rengoku and that he was able to see that through the incredible character that was crafted for her!
Win 294 at 1:54:50, the Mark is a special ability that can be awakened by demon slayers that have been inspired by those who have already awakened it and are in a life threatening situation (season 2, Tanjiro Awakens it due to Yorichi's past with his family and the fact he is dying from blood lose and poison from Gyutaro's weapons), Tanjiro passes the ability to both Muichiro and Mitsuri during season 3 now. This also means that Rengoku and Tengen could not have awakened it due to Tanjiro not awakening it at those times.
I love everything about mistreating the effects are absolutely amazing but also the explanation behind it how Tokito wears this really baggy clothing and moves in these particular ways so that the opponent can't read his movements and that shows up in this form of haze and mist
