I have been taking these video courses for several years now. I found the videos very helpful in passing both my RHCSA and RHCE certification exams recently.
@@Lucy-dk5cz Yeah, that's how they do it. Film it and then horizontally flip it. I think it's much better than using a regular whiteboard behind the presenter since the presenter has to keep turning around.
I'm more interested how this was filmed...... Was there a piece of glass writing inverted the whole time,. Or was it a time lapse with shutter timing with added dryerase marker sounds? Green screen ? I do see light coming from stage right
The LinuxBible I think is a very good way to dabble with Linux if you’re a beginner. I bought it after having 5 years experience with Linux and development and I learned a lot from that book .
Hmmm... looks interesting. Am familiar with most of points. Currently doing iPXE booted HA OpenShift setup via Ansible. But should play with OpenStack bit more. I just got installed it few times. Nothing more. Waiting for some metal comming in.
Thanks for the video! Is there anyone who tried Mr. Sander's courses? I'm actually new to linux and I may get stuck if the teacher is so smart that he can't adjust to the level of his students knowledge .
With the new RHCE being about Ansible instead of Advanced Linux topics (like it used to be), was RHSCA updated to include those Advanced Linux Topics? or did that content get moved to RHCA Performance Tuning / Troubleshooting ?
I just passed the RHEL 8 RHCE (Ansible) and have wondered the same thing. Perhaps they are expecting the more advanced configurations to be handled with Ansible now.
Advanced Linux topics have not been included in RHCSA, although RHCSA has become a bit more advanced by including topics about container management, shell scripting, VDO and Stratis. To cover more advanced topics, Red hat has created a new course, the RH358, Red Hat Services Management and Automation.
Hi Sander, I have a query regarding RED HAT certifications, I'm planning to take up RHCSA, RHCE and RHCA certifications. but I have query. To become RHCA we need 5 certifications, but for some there is prerequisite training mentioned on the red hat site , are they really mandatory or is there any way we can just give the exam ?
@@SumeetThakur89 You can take the RHCE exam without having either taken or passed RHCSA. If you pass without being an RHCSA, you will only get the RHCE certificate after passing RHCSA as well.
Dear Sander, Is these certifications, like Cisco certifications, still valuable if your company is not usin Redhat (derivs)? Or would you in those cases, be better of taking LPI/LPIC?
Ansible is the future, go for RHCE8 which is all about Ansible. If you're very good in advanced Linux stuff, you might want to try that (as it's easier then), but I think you'll be in a better position for the future if you do Ansible.
Hi kiran, I wan't to kick start my career in Redhat Linux system admin, can you tell some good institutes that teach you and prepare you for the exam and job placement.

So great! Thanks for that
Anyone else notice him writing backwards? What kind of witchcraft is this?
Try to play the video forward instead of rewind ;-)
First thing I noticed! I assume that horizontally flipped the footage

The RHCSA course requirements list "Basic IT knowledge" as one. Can you expand on this?
That just means you need to be familiar with computer stuff. You know about RAM, hard disks and so on.
A lot of confusion.
Can u share th links of ur Ansible courses.
Ansible course & Advance Ansible course ?

Would this be relevant for somebody with a CCNA or is this more so for the administration people opposed to engineers.
mcse or rhce which is better and more opportunities please reply
Thank you for explaining the diffrence. Do we have a cyber security sertificate in RedHat?
Not really. I think that EX407 (Linux security) comes closest
