Surprisingly, seeing Elise pull off an actual facial expression was more cursed than her kissing the chao. Never realized how eerily blank her face was in 06 till now. Lmao

That's everyone in 06; the same is true for Amy in that game. It's just more jarring with Elise because 06 is her first and only appearance, so her unemotive facial expressions are her default look.

I wouldn’t mind Sonic 06 be remade in this design. Elise’s model is definitely an improvement from the game. She actually look pretty.

I mean...lots of people kiss dead loved ones goodbye. My mom kissed her aunt after the plug was pulled and there was no heartbeat (it was a stroke that landed her on life support). Admittedly, it was on the forehead, but still.
Eh, I always saw the kiss as akin to an old fairy tale, like "true love's first kiss" breaking a death-like sleep in Snow White or Sleeping Beauty. She is a princess, so she would fit into that mould.

Not saying this was that well executed in the game but this is clearly a "love's first kiss+come back to me, my dead lover" kind of thing.
She isn't some crazy psycho that will kiss anything or anyone without their consent.
Why do people feel the need to MAKE UP flaws for a game that's already riddled with it. And if it's just to hate on Elise, just be like others and complain about her getting kidnapped a lot or something.

Welp this is definitely an interesting scene. Why I get the feeling Elise is like a stand in for a furry? Tho could just be strange human that demands affection from animals? All in all excellent job with emotions with the characters can’t wait to see how this all turns out!

It makes a lot of sense that Amy parodied as Satski from Ghost Stories, Lisa Ortiz did the voice of Satski in ghost stories and she did the voice of Amy in Sonic X and in the sonic game series. Definitely makes a lot of sense
It's not actually Lisa Ortiz who did the voice. The voice actress for Satsuki is Hilary Haag who's done a lot of voiceover work after Ghost Stories. Though I will agree, she does sound similar to Lisa Ortiz.

We need more of this! Voice Acting is top notch, animations are pretty and the scene is cute and funny, Seeing Elise was a pleasant surprise, yeah I’m an Elise Appreciator, 06 didn’t do her any Justice and her first appearance, constantly getting kidnapped like another famous Princess.
I'd like to see more of her. Her character could use a lot of improvement
they should do a remake of 06 where elise is a good character and they cut out that god awful excuse of a romance

This works so much better than the anime, as while Ghost Stories is very fun to watch, it has more of a RUclips abridge dub vibe with the script and animation, so I couldn’t be immersed. Amy and Princess Elise has a lot of motion and reaction, it blends perfectly.
