This has to be one of best award show performance out this year. what's crazy about them is that they were calmly walking to their spots on time. KPOP award shows are in another level compare to the awards in the states. Almost every nominated group or solo artists get to perform these special live performances. The MAMA award was a two night event. And yes you need to react to the live performance. Another commenter shared the link.
I saw someone already commented more detail about the song and the meaning it lended to the choreo, so I wont repeat it. I will just say these girls are brilliant. They debuted just this year and to think this is the standard they have set themselves as a new group is so exciting. Like it amazes me that this was their first ever MMA performance. Their choreographers are so talented and know exactly how to use all the skills the artists have to best tell the story (Kazuha who did the leg lift is a trained ballerina and they've used that many times in MVs and performances). I love watching the award show stages and dance practices of all the groups and the creativity is always great. I love seeing what different artists can do with basically the same stage. But this? This was my favourite of the show, it felt like watching a kaleidoscope made of people, just so interesting to look at, and the music went so well.
Adding some context to the third part of the video with all the wave effects. sorry for the long paragraph.. The intro song to their antifragile ep is called The Hydra which is a reference to the greek mythology creature, a serpent with multiple heads. Everytime you cut the serpent's head it grows a new one. you'll notice the girl in the middle (Sakura) at 11:47 keeps making motions of cutting her head off (if u pay close attention u can see when she throws her head left to right a new member's head appears, pretty cool). So this is basically Sakura representing the Hydra getting it's head cut, and the members are her other heads growing, creating the imagery at the very end of the performance. It's giving the message that even when you try to cut them down and make them feel lesser than, they come back with even more strength than before, which is basically their entire concept as a group. Omg I've been waiting for you to react to this for a min. I just knew you would love it! You have to watch the stage performance you would love it even more. I literally on the live performance stopped the video at the exact same time you did at the beginning of the video. Her arms was everything and so was the ballet high kick part. I loved how they used the background dancers my favorite part is the wave. It looked insane on stage. Another one of my favorite parts what when all the dancers was behind them creating that effect. I'm telling you have to watch there other dance practices. They did not come to play with anyone at these year end award shows. The dance directors have been on point with this group. They have been out performing everyone this year.

highly recommend watching their music video for their song impurities its literally just a dance performance in an open space but it honestly one of those performances that u can just feel how well the song and choreo fit together and the simple visuals/lighting they use just to enhance it peak.
