Well done..very nice!..I lived a couple miles from here abt 30yrs ago..Never knew how nice it was ..Used to go to the stone bridge alot..This house was on the left on a hill when walking to the bridge I think,Didn't know you could tour it... good memories..Thanks again.
My family lived at the second house on Sudley road, past the stone house in 1961, & 1962. I was six years old at the time. I really loved this old house all my life, wonderful memories...
@@scherzva I lived in Centerville during 64 and 1965. Went to Centerville elementary. At the time, there was a school, super market, gas station, hardware store, and drug store.
One of the carvings is of Pvt. Eugene Geer was 18 years old and was enlisted in the fifth New York. he was wounded at second manassas and died a few weeks later in Alexandra Virginia. He is buried in new Baltimore New York and his headstone is currently underway to be restored.
I used to sled down the hill behind it when it snowed. I've never seen the inside before. Thank you for the tour. Great video!

An excellent video that captures many of the highlights of that location that I remember visiting. It's a wonderfully preserved piece of history.
Thanks for the video tour ! House was closed during our visit.
