same feelings, i still remembren when i was akid and my dad bougth me the premium pack zombi u edition, i was the happiest kid in the world, good old days
I keep coming back to this for some reason. If you haven't noticed, the characters from previous shots became infected in the next shot, showing that they all succumbed at some point.
This game is the reason I want a WiiU. It's a sign that Nintendo is really letting third party developers go wild and make some pretty awesome stuff. Kudos to Nintendo and Ubisoft. Let's hope this next generation is a haven for nintendo fans.
Thank you Ubisoft for this game, it was well made and it was amazing, first horror game that actually kept me on my feet scoping out the area and reacting to any little noise i heard. I hope in the future you plan a sequel cus that ending just left me wanting more.
It's not about the zombies in london, it's that when you die you have to play as another survivor and get your stuff back. And it uses tactics and not "GO IN AND SHOOT EVERYTHING". Better than most shooters we get today
The game's name is ZombiU. A combo of the game's original name "Zombi" (look it up, it was Ubisoft's first game) and the U suffix from Wii U. This game is a modern reboot. The "U" suffix doesn't have to be used, but like the DS and Super Nintendo, it can be integrated at the discretion of the developers.
Look closely at each of these scenes. The survivor from the previous scene returns as a zombie the next scene! The guy in the blue jacket on the bus returns in the next scene grabbing onto the woman's leg, the same man and woman return in that old guy's office, the old guy returns being hit by a car, and so on.
Notice that every human shown is a zombie in the next scene. Even the guy at the very end of the trailer is actually the zombie in the first scene. This is my favorite trailer from E3 by far.
1- Original continue system, if you die you have to start from zero and kill the last person you were using (now a zombie) to retrieve your equipment) 2- Combo and fighting system, in other zombie games you only shot at zombies, here you fight them. 3-The goal of the game is only survive not findout who released the virus or that kind of stuff.
I can't get around the fact that the Royal Guard chopped of a guy's head with a freaking bayonet! This trailer is like a morbid love letter to the British people, seeing how everyone is immensely badass!
If you'll notice, there's actually an edge to the blade. Also, depending on the decomposition of the zombie, it would be much easier to rend them asunder.
Normal premium has the 32gb WiiU, Nintendo Land, some stands for the tablet controller, and 2 years of 10% discount on WiiU store. ZombiU premium has all the stuff above, but adds ZombiU, Pro Controller and a ZombiU skin for the tablet. Not sure if you can only get it in UK and Europe at the moment.
Though this commercial doesn't have any gameplay. It touches your heart and tells u just the hopelessness and sadness that those guys are facing. Like what most shooter games don't have.
Finally Nintendo is showing great potential!!! Hardcore games plus hd graphics, the Wii u can take its place next to my ps3 and 360!!! The best of all world!!!!!!!
they already talk about it. in the game when you die, you become a zombie and thenyou play as another survivor, in order to retrieve all the items the last survivor had, you had to go find him( he is gonna be in the last place where he died and became a zombie) and kill him
Zombi was one of the first zombie apocalypse game...so, I guess its remake (obviously ZombiU) deserves to take on the whole theme again. And its sequels.
The song fits amazingly well, dude! The game is set in London and this is England's national anthem! Also, it is in contrast to how the pictures make you feel, it is supposed to be that way to emphasize the sad tone of the trailer! Playing a happy song while everything is ending is like the violinists on the Titanic!
+Bonnie1020Production don't see an opening for a sequel maybe DLC where we play as prepper and escape but like you said with poor sales it will probably never happen
I guess that the longest you survive, you become more powerful and when you die, the intensity of the battle between your new character and the last one will be determined by how powerful you were before....Basically, you are the one who decides the difficulty and the boss battles...I hope this is the case here....!
I said this alot... But I just can repeat myself. I mean, this is a Nintendo title, Nintendo, the family friendly home console. Finally they did something for everyone. :')

Looks awesome, and when u now watch the gameplay video...............Will it be as usual? =/
ZombiU's use of the controller looks the best so far. Haven't been much of a fan for games in this genre for a while but the functionality of this game is why I need the system (besides Nintendo's exclusives).
Judging by the roof and the brickwork, it looks like Liverpool St Station, but I could be wrong (there are a couple of stations with that kind of roof)
Oh, you mean that the dude in the car is the decapitated zombie in the last scene and he could never be the dude in the car if this was the first scene in a chronological order...Yeah, that makes sense...It is either a paradox or either the soldier from the finale is not the one in the beginning of the video or the last decapitated zombie is not the dude in the car...
Aye. But if the trailer follows the pattern: "Zombie kills survivor - survivor zombie kills another survivor - the new survivor zombie kills another survivor.. And so on", then it will have to be the same guard. The guards face is the same in the start and in the end and his cloth has the same "guard rank". But the cloth is not damaged in the beginning as it is in the end but that could be a mistake. Anyway, happy to meet you and thanks for understanding!
there called alpha kits and yes they are pc systems at the start but the beta kits are dev kits are the true game hardware a beta xbox 360 kit is a xbox 360 system with maybe more ram
The trailer is actually a paradox. If the guy in the beginning is the same guy in the end then it doesn't "add up". The first guy (the british guard) starts the chain reaction of kills which are seen in the trailer and then it end with his own human form being killed? Pretty weird :3
The skullkid gave you the answer to your question...That and the actual limited resources and real-time item management, trying to unlock doors while zombies are after you and stuff like this...Not to mention the story, which is unique bit it would take too much space to explain here....Try and find more info. This game is really unique!
There were a number of wii games that were rated M. House of the Dead: Overkill. Madworld. The gamecube also had the unrated edition of Conker's Bad Fur Day and Killer 7. Plus full screen uncensored video in that BMX XXX game while the other consoles had censored windows that were pixallated.
what makes you think thats not much? if you try to base it on computer standards it wont work you know. computers prob require about 2gb of ram for a game in low quality and more for higher quality .. but at the same time its using prob more then 50% for other operations to keep it on so 1 gb for great quality should be more then fine when its all for 1 operation
It looks scary and I have a load of friends who like zombie games and he even says he wanted to be in a situation like this game so he could kill a bunch of them. But think about it logically, how scary it must be surrounded by ugly half dead creatures who have one thing on their mind but tearing you to bits still alive. Painful and most scary death in the history of ever.
You saw really clearly that you just respawn as a new guy and all the zombies you already killed stay dead. That's pretty damn forgiving and makes any real sense of survival not as important.
I think the first one that really did that was ether madworld or no more heroes. There were tons of games that did years ago but it wasn't that big of an issue that long back.
It's so funny seeing kid friendly characters as Mario and Luigi after seeing one of the most scariest video game trailers of all time
Damn right
This is one of the many reasons why I got a Wii U.
Still one of my favorite Zombie games of all time.

I keep coming back to this for some reason. If you haven't noticed, the characters from previous shots became infected in the next shot, showing that they all succumbed at some point.
i noticed too, i think the zombie killed in the first shot is actually the same guard as the last one
7 Years. I remember showing this my mom when i was 9 just because i wanted the Wii U. (Wasnt my best choice to show THIS trailer.)
Now we need ZombiSwitch
Coming back here years later, and this game was CRIMINALLY underrated

You don't start completely over again and again...You start each mission again and again...
that Royal Guards last stand at the end was very epic, hope he or another guardsmen is playable.
As a brit this game looks bloody great, cant wait.

One of the darkest things in Nintendo's history ever.

2- Combo and fighting system, in other zombie games you only shot at zombies, here you fight them.

I can't get around the fact that the Royal Guard chopped of a guy's head with a freaking bayonet! This trailer is like a morbid love letter to the British people, seeing how everyone is immensely badass!
I play lots of Wii and PC. Nintendo has always catered to me, and with this kind of content I might stop relying on PC for my third-party fix.

I'm going to get this game when i buy the Wii-U. It looks awesome. The best Wii-U game until now.
Pure survival horror. I go my hands on a demo in a convetion in South America and the feeling it gave was long gone since the original RE.
Well your guy at the end didn't last very long
The song is in the game. It sounds as unsettling as in this video.
If you'll notice, there's actually an edge to the blade. Also, depending on the decomposition of the zombie, it would be much easier to rend them asunder.
This was my favorite single-player game on Wii U.
Normal premium has the 32gb WiiU, Nintendo Land, some stands for the tablet

ZombiU premium has all the stuff above, but adds ZombiU, Pro Controller and a ZombiU skin for the tablet. Not sure if you can only get it in UK and Europe at the moment.
This is the first time I see a seriously gory, violent game for Nintendo since the GameCube.
This has to be the best trailer since Dead Island.Coincidentally, they are both both zombie games.
Though this commercial doesn't have any gameplay. It touches your heart and tells u just the hopelessness and sadness that those guys are facing. Like what most shooter games don't have.
If it were him the zombies would just leave him alone because he's... HANDSOME!

what's even creepier is the zombie from the start was the guy in the end...
Holy cow! Thanks for pointing that out!
