  • This pattern has become a standard PERDIGON nymph in most euro nympher’s boxes over the last several years.
It can be tied using several different materials for the body but I am assuming that the standard material for the pattern is the Hends Perdigones Body, PBM 233.
    Recipe as tied here
Hook: Fulling Mills FM5005 Size 18
    Bead: Copper Tungsten, 2.4mm
Thread: Tan GSP Thread Under Tinsel. Fluorescent Fire Orange, 8/0 For Hot Spot
    Tail: CDL Fibers
Body: Hends Perdigones Body, PBM 233
    Wing case: Black Nail Polish
    UV Resin: Solarez Bone Dry

Well done Juan. For the Next one, try to tie the gasolina with a black thread underbody. In Spain we always use black thread and the body get a bit darker color.

Yes! I like to have a couple of options in my box. Black under bodies are probably my favorite to get the darker body. I also like the brighter thread underneath as mentioned already in the comments. Thanks for tuning in!

Great tie Juan. I didn't realize I was tying this Perdigon before I knew it was a commerce fly. The only difference is I would keep with the orange thread the whole way through.

Yeah, there’s a lot of different patterns and even a lot of variations of this pattern. By adjusting the threads under the tinsel you can change the color of the body. Brighter thread will give you a brighter body. 💪🏽
