30:32 It exists! It exists! I was right! I _knew_ there was a second theme song, aside from the one that's existed on RUclips for over a decade, and you found it! The theme I called the "Tuesday/Thursday" theme, since it was used on those days. The "Monday/Wednesday/Friday" theme has been uploaded several times, but I don't know why no one's ever uploaded this theme before... until now! I can't tell you how good it feels that I was _right,_ and that I _wasn't_ just going crazy this whole time! 😂
I was a kid when "The Comic Strip" aired. I am pretty sure it had a Saturday morning airing in southern Ontario. It's been a while. From my vague first-hand memories of this block, I recall the constant re-playing of the Comic Strip theme song many times (often ad nauseum, even though, yes, it is a catchy song) throughout the block. This video upload clearly confirms my recollection of the constant theme song re-playing (so my memory wasn't false!) 😅😅 Also it seems like the individual cartoon segment's theme songs played multiple times as well. Hmm. I vaguely remember that the block had a weird continuity. I remember the storytelling never felt finished, and felt disjointed. I don't know if this type of segment-based story telling was effective in hindsight, especially since each cartoon segment had different animation styles and storytelling styles. I think I only cared about Tiger Sharks, and did not care about the other cartoon segments in the block, sadly. When Tiger Sharks took a break, I would have probably changed channels to some other cartoon that was airing at the same time (after all, this was Saturday morning in 1988 and there would have been an over-abundance of animation on the airwaves!) Blocks like this are in contrast to, for example, The Disney Afternoon, where each cartoon had its full 30-minute space of story telling (or 22 minutes, realistically). I'm still somewhat confused about how a typical Saturday morning airing of "The Comic Strip" played out and how exactly the segments were cycled-through.
A Karate Kat episode not previously available before in English, nice. Hope you find an edition with that other Karate Kat episode The Kitten Klub Kaper. Big Papa spent the whole story disguised as a girl cat!!
Hmmm So that how tv looked 11 years before my birth 😂 march 26

Thank you so much for uploading more episodes of the Comic Strip.
OH. MY. GOD. You just made my day. The "Air America" kite planes - I was beginning to despair of ever finding this commercial, but I remember it well.
I loved this show. I used to watch it on KCOP, but they showed it in a weekday format.
OH, MY GOD! BIG THANK YOU for sharing this! This really made my day; post more if you've got them!

I completely forgot about this variant of the theme song!
This is the last tv series Art Rankin & Julius Bass did before the studio closed.
Comic Strip....where those cartoons you barely remember or confused with another cartoon came from.
