I am 60+I love taking health drinks every morning like chia Seed, flax seeds, garlic water, ginger water, sattu, raisin almond and dates not all in oneday but atleast 3 of them My bp has gone down I never have any health issue or take any medicines,I am a busy woman at home,in my garden, busy in the church program as one of the leaders, and some social work too,I would request all women don't be lazy or don't depend too much on alopathy medicine prevent yourself from sickness so that you don't need a Dr.

I’m a 72 year old “chic” and have been on high blood pressure meds for about 10 years. I’ve always struggled to get it below 140+, but since I got serious about incorporating ground flax seed into my diet daily I’ve seen tremendous progress. I’ve been serious about it for about three months. My BP today was 122/65! Another change I made was cutting out all wine….and I don’t miss my weekend habit. I feel great. I have 2T-3T daily. I often add it to my porridge or make a Ground Flax Seed Tortilla and wrap my scrambled eggs into it. There are so many ways to consume FS.

This information is SO TRUE!! I started eating flax seeds with all my meals, and when I went to my doctor for regular exam, my blood pressure was way down, almost to normal, and my thyroid numbers were way down also. She asked me what I was doing, and I told her about the "plant based diet", which includes the "flax seeds".

I have lost 20 pounds in the last five months. I started eating less carbs, added collagen to my smoothie every day, and have been taking a heaping tablespoon of organic flaxseed for the last five years. I’m happy to hear of so many healthy benefits we receive when consuming flaxseed, however I don’t think it aided my weight loss because I’ve been taking it for five years. Thank you for explaining all the healthy benefits eating flaxseeds affords us! I might add the fact that I do sit and be fit yoga and ride my stationary bike every day.

Brown & golden seeds may have equal vitiman and nutricional benifits; how-ever they do not do the same things. I found the dark flax help with empting the digestive track better. They seem to produce mure soluble fiber. makes better flax eggs. May be all in my head but I say the dark has better flavor!
Also,I suggest buy thw whole seed and grind it yourself.

      Hey, replying to your ques.
1-: There's not as such recommended time to eat flaxs, you can have them anytime in a day, but if you're more on weight loss then it's said to have a flaxseed water 30 Minutes before your meal.
2-: You can have flaxseeds in your own way, whether you are consuming it as a tea, a milk, or just giving the touch of flaxseed's powder to your meal it's totally depends on you as how you're like to intake them or else you can simply roast flaxseeds on low-medium flame for 2-3 minutes and eat them 1-1.5 Teaspoons a day
3-: If you're starting or have included flaxseeds in your diet recently then having them in a quantity of 1-1.5 teaspoons is considered requisite quantity, You should never consider having flaxseeds above 4 Tablespoons, as 4 tablespoons considered as overdo, period
