Weekly Vlog #21 - Surgeon appointment, Finding a lump, Tidying and Noah starts walking

Hello! I hope you're having a good week so far and enjoying the lovely weather if you're in the UK! Welcome back to another Weekly Vlog. This week, I went to see the hand and wrist surgeon, who has referred me for some more tests. I also find a lump in my abdomen but can't get an urgent doctors appointment, so am pretty anxious about that. On Tuesday and Thursday evenings, I go and speak to a Cub Scout group about Disability Awareness, which is good fun. On Friday, my Mum and I take a little trip to Next and I spend some vouchers I was given. Then on Saturday, I spend most of the day sorting through some boxes of my old school books and birthday cards, which results in some giggles! And on Sunday we see Noah walk properly for the first time, which is really exciting!

Hi Jenny, another great vlog! Just a thought re the working with children side of things - have you considered maybe volunteering so that there’s less pressure to commit when you’re not feeling so well? I started volunteering with Girlguiding last year and I’ve loved it, so much so that I’m training to be a Brownie leader now. If you’re a Unit Helper though it can just be every now and then which might suit you? Just a though! Xx

Thank you Lois I'm glad you enjoyed it :) Yeah I'm technically a helper with the Cub Scout group my Dad helps at, although I rarely get time/have the energy to do it at the moment unfortunately. But volunteering is definitely a good shout and I know how many organisations are desperate for volunteers too :) xx
