My guess it's a combination of factors. Firstly, there's the obvious part that as a K-pop group, their Korean content is going to feel like the main component of their work. But perhaps more importantly, Feel Special was the first comeback without Mina, during which it was revealed pretty much at the last moment (despite being in the MV) that she was still not well enough to join in on group activities. Feel Special was also fully promoted, with Twice performing it on numerous music shows during their comeback. And was performed numerous times during award season. All of which only serve to accentuate her absence from the group and thus, her performing Feel Special for the first time end up feeling that much more special.
Feel Special will always be a milestone of a song. It's like an anthem not just for ONCE but also for Mina especially. I hope she knows she's loved and special and there's no one like her. I hope she always remembers that when they perform this. They'll ALWAYS be 9, a family, and be there for each other.
they all sounded great. we missed mina so much and the other members sound like they’re near tears after she begins singing. they’ve all worked so hard for this. i’m so proud of twice. all of their vocals have improved tremendously
