This was so so helpful! How do you start convos with people the first class/first week of classes?

Typically people will ask like where you are from, what dorm they live in, there major and just simple questions like that

What kind of backpack did you get for college/ what would you recommend? I think it would be cool to do a backpack haul of all the things you might do different this year before you go back in the fall!

I use a brevite backpack but a lot of people also use north face ones!

Do you think joining a sorority is essential to making friends or do you think there’s a lot of people outside of sororities in other clubs also in the same boat in a small Christian school and an sec school?

I would say at either type of school as long as you put effort into joining organizations or clubs you are interested in then you should have no need to join a sorority just for the purpose of making friends
