  • Today we solve a really annoying problem for every camper who is traveling with a mobile home, box van or caravan. The brown stripe under the heating duct on the outside wall not only doesn't look nice, it also puts an extreme strain on the plastic. After a few years it becomes so porous and brittle that in the worst case scenario the part has to be replaced.
I have now got myself a product so that doesn't happen. A condensate drain for less than 15 €.
You can find it here: amzn.to/3j446nJ
    Suitable for Truma heating.
Why is this happening? The warm air from the heater is discharged through the chimney and condensed. This causes water droplets to come out of the chimney. These slowly run down the outer wall.
Unfortunately, these spots then turn slightly brown. Although my Womo is only 3 years old, it really doesn't look nice. In addition, the plastic becomes porous over time and tears very easily.
So we need a solution! This is why this condensate drain comes to the vehicle. The cool thing is that you add this part once and then you have your peace of mind.
By the way, this is also excellent when you are out and about in winter. Because then the chimney lid cannot freeze. The water is drained directly and drips directly onto the floor.
For me it is a must for every camper.
