Those dark spots that you thought were geysers are actually oil spots, you can collect crude oil from it by building an oil rig on top of it, but that's for end-game items. Also, good vid!
-In your "Next" video, you mention that you have a 2 minute watch time... At around the time I was about to tune out. I didn't really like last video, but wasn't sure why. Was going to make comments, but I tend to be snarky. -Out of curiosity, I watched this one, and I have a few pieces of feedback for you since you asked. - I really dislike your selection of stock music. First one was a weird "Circus theme", second one was the one that is normally under a bunch of other people's clips with an AI voiceover. Third one sounds like the bad recorder playing the MGM movie theme. 4th one... the smooth jazz wasn't bad. I've never gone through the YT stock music library, but there HAS to be something better than the first 3 you used. - You are a camera Spaz. You are always looking somewhere, never giving a smooth view. 1:38 Instead of just standing there collecting the loot, you are spazzing all over the place. I don't know if you ever collected it. - You do a lot of editing... So why did you go to the top of the tower, just to show us that you can't see anything, while spinning the camera wildly. To go back immediately later when the sun is up. Oh the music during this part... ears bleeding... Fighting every instinct to skip video. - Good luck to you as a RUclipsr. Cheers
Hi! Thanks so much for your feedback it really means a lot to me! I'm super grateful you decided to give another video a shot. With this one being my second video ever, and also being new to content creation and editing, this is probably some of my shoddiest work. My latest video and the video that I plan to upload today show what I think is clear improvement from earlier videos such as this one. As for he music selection, I too have realized that using the most popular music I can find that's free to use has been overplayed and outdated, as well as some poor selection on my end. I have lately switched to using some more independent artists for my bgm! I've also decided to up my camera focus so that clips and shots are a lot better in focus! There's a difference in camera placement and following from normally playing a game, to content creation, which I'm starting to get! As for the editing, making cuts upon cuts was what I originally thought was good, but I now realize that pace and significance and flow of clips is more important! I really hope that one day down the line you stumble across one of my videos and see that I've improved since now! I'm not at all trying to be perfect or punch above my weight class, I just really want to get better, one video at a time! Thanks so much for this comment!
