Police will not waste time with phone calls.... they will call them to the police station.... if any one is asking money on the phone its a fake its very simple... just hang up the call... bank account for shopping should be a separate one... with minimum amount... that way your main bank account is protected.. in case of your phone getting hacked...
This is not only with fedex even with DTDC . It need not be cyber scam it will be done by the staff by sharing the details of parcel and asking to pay a late fee. They will purposely delay parcel and ask the late fee The. They will send the UPI link for 5 or 10 rupees for late fee payment and then they will hack the account

Just now I got a call, first they call ur parcel conting narotics which was caught at mumbai airport with ur name they will say to log compain online regarding it. They will transfer call to Inspector. They asked me to come to mumbai to log a complaint if not possible to log a complaint online.. They will give their id. Then I told I am going to narcotic in bangalore office. They cut the call. Be careful guys.
Today i got call and taken all details but at last they told connecting to fraud DCP .he asked me to send my my transactions balance history as i got any illegal commission from drug dealer so i sent my account statements and he told me to send my amount to ministry of finance and i told i will come physically and give complaint then he got anger and scolded me then come in 30 minutes chutiya pura accounts sees karega aur police gar aayaga . He disappointed and cut the call.
