Thank you for this explanation about D9. In D1 I am Virgo Ascendant. In D9 Gemini ascendant. Mars is Vargotama in Aquarius in D1 in the 6th house in conjunction with Sun and my acendant lord Mercury. In D9 Mars is in the 9th house. In D9 I have Sun in Scorpio in the 6th house (in D1 also in 6th house but in Aquarius). My dad is not in my life as he doesn't want to be part of it. He also is facing disease after disease. Mercury is staying ascendant lord in both charts but different signs. In D1 Mercury is in 6th house Aquarius and in D9 in 7th house Sagitarius). I have Mercury vargottama in Aquarius. In D1 chart Mercury is in the 5th house (libra ascendant) and in the D9 chart Mercury is in the 11th house (aries ascendant).

In D-1 look at the strength of 9th house lord and look which sign it is posited in Friendly, enemical, own sign, exalted and then check its inner strength (placement in D-9 chart) Jupiter also plays a vital role especially in females chart for determining the happiness and sustaince of marriage.
Many astrologers say that vargottoma ascendant in D1 & D9 give good results and have to see planetary placements in both vargottama lagna but you are saying there will not be big changes. Can you elaborate more on this ?
Energy associated with Vargotamma Lagna is highly intensified and it is very difficult for them to adjust according to 7th house energy. Because in order to protect your ascendant (personality) you suppress your 7th house (Life partner) and same case with your life partner.
