    In software 3.3 you can set Menu -> Preferences -> Project Defaults -> Audio Monitor to Merge. I don’t know about earlier versions. I literally figured it out yesterday and then saw your video today. It was great and I learned a lot. Thanks

    this is a great video & highlights the fact you can easily get around the 8 audio track/ 8 plugin track limitations. also showing how you can integrate the Force into practically any setup that uses external gear.
    nice one man 👍👍

      The more I work with it, the more I realize that many of the dilemmas have workarounds. It just takes fast fingers! Haha. I think a Force 2 would be able to address many of these solutions in a more efficient layout. Thanks, once again, for watching!

    I guess I have gotten so use to the broken way the audio track routing works that I never had an issue with the way it works. I normally just set it to enable when I am auditioning other tracks right after it starts to avoid putting it into record. You make a very valid point about how dysfunctional it is.

      The entire unit has strange quirks, but it's still enjoyable and intuitive. Once I got used to the workflow and button combinations, it opened up a lot of space for me to express myself. Thank you for watching!

    You’re a legend!
    I wish you had a thanks button. I was playing around with this exact set up the other day. Don’t know if i had it set up correctly but managed to record sound. The problem was when i changed the preset, i now see how to correct that 😉
    Thank you so much ❤️

    Nice work again Daniel.. Not many channels out there showing workflow on the Force.
    I am going to replicate this setup and work through your example to get this process down.. My MV1 has loads of sounds to record.

    • @danieklerr
      @danieklerr  8 месяцев назад

      Yes, MV1, that will be amazing! And it's a nice, small size, so that's a lot of power in a small space. Thank you for watching. :)

    Great workflow tutorial ! 👏👏🎶🙏. Just as a matter of interest, how do you have your pads set up in hardware prefs ie threshold, sensitivity, velocity/aftertouch ? Thanks ! 🙏

    • @danieklerr
      @danieklerr  8 месяцев назад +1

      Hello.. I am not a super expressive pads player, and my particular Force unit also has a good deal of variability in the pads-sensitivity. A few are quite non-expressive, actually. So I have them set to be as sensitive as possible, and I have velocity all the way up, by default. Thank you for watching!

    Nice!!!
    Drum tracks are great.
    I need to get back into putting a set together again.
    I like the way you split the drum track into 4 different zones.
    I should really hook my Wavestate back up to the Force again, just limited for space at the moment.

      Wavestate! After owning my Modwave, I'm really keen to get a Wavestate and OpSix to go with it. Is it amazing?

      I love the Wavestate and use it mainly for ambient elements.
      Only one thing for me that is a downside is the reverb.
      It's a master effect rather than a send effect.
      There is also no free running lfo but that can be achieved through external gear, be it a DAW or Force.
      Bar from that, it's pretty awesome.
      I'm super keen on getting the Modwave once I have a bit more space.

      I don't care for the reverb on the Modwave, either. In fact, I think the effects are very washy in general, and are one of the reasons the online demos are lackluster. With so many modulation options, the temptation is always present to mud everything all up. Strange that the Wavestate has no free-running LFOs. Side note: I wish the LFOs in the Force's macros were sync-able!

    Hi, I really appreciate your videos. I was wondering if you knew how to output your music at a different pitch? I’ve been trying to output at a 432 hz A. Rather than changing all my synthesizers 32 cents down. Is there a way to output the entire song $.32 down in AkAi. Many thanks for your attention.

    • @danieklerr
      @danieklerr  8 месяцев назад

      I can appreciate why you would want to do this! Nonetheless, I'm not aware of a way to do this in the Force. You could put a pitch-shifter on the main output, but I'm not certain the insert can pitch in increments that small, and it wouldn't really accomplish what you want. Anyway, thank you for watching and commenting!

    This is awesome. I am definitely going to use this method. It’s bouncing on steroids and another awesome use case for the 64 pads.

      I have hundreds of videos on a variety of topics! Haha. What can I help you with? Do you want to record an audio sample? Or do you mean you want to make a MIDI clip, with a plugin or keygroup? Let me know what you want to see, and I'll make a video for you. Thanks for watching. :)
