Morse code just may be more useful than we realize in the near future as society melts down and big brother starts dividing and conquering.

    Ok punters
The code that was sent in the break in the video was
    _subscribe to JacyCity Subscrib_
though there was an insufficient gap between the y in JayCity and the s in subscribe so I had to back over it
The 20WPM code that was sent was _DCET_
20 Words Per Minute was the minimum speed for a commercial Maritime Radio Operator and is slow enough for you to write down, but fast enough for you to hear the words rather than the individual letters.
If you’re serious about learning Morse Code, this is the way that worked for me, and this is what does not work or slows down your progress.
It will take you 3 weeks or so to get it all down, letters, numbers, basic punctuation ? / . and ,
You should have them all committed to memory within the three weeks
Learn by listening at 10 words per minute character speed as a minimum. I would recommend 15 words per minute character speed. Space the letters out at 3-5 words per minute, but the character speed needs to be 10WPM or over. This is called Farnsworth spacing
Focus on the rhythm of the letters. Each of the letters have a “groove” or “feel” to use musical terms. Morse is primarily an audio communication method. Avoid using lookup charts, it will slow down your progress. Avoid mnemonics too. Again it ads an extra step for your conscious brain to process.
Look into the Koch method. It starts with just two characters. Once you have mastered them, you add a third, then a fourth, etc, until you’ve added all 26 letters, 10 numbers and 4 punctuation symbols.
Practice listening each day. Just 3-5 minutes a couple of times a day. Start faster than you can copy and listen carefully and see if you can pick out a letter or two. Bring the speed down a little, see how much more you can copy. Slow down some more and see if you’re hitting 90%. That’s good enough. I found by doing that my speed went from 8 to 15WPM in a few weeks when the characters were sent at 20WPM
Look up Morse Ninja for some full on intermediate to advanced Morse training videos though he does have some beginner tips and such
The Ham Whisperer is where I started. His stuff is 10WPM characters at 5WPM. Lockdown Morse was a good next step and he sent 20WPM characters as 10WPM
Have a listen on the Web SDRs online for real Morse Code sent by hams. You can tune in between 7000KHz and 7060Khz the higher you go, the slower it tends to be. The Russians still use Morse for their defence forces and a few searches will list frequencies that you’ll hear live Morse messages between ships and planes and land stations. Much from the aircraft and ships is sent with a straight key at 15-20WPM. Most are plain text encoded with a one time pad, so you’ll receive the messages, but you’ll not know what they mean.
It took me, self taught, part time, around 6 weeks to be confident enough to send at 10-12 WPM and within 8 Weeks confident enough to receive at 10WPM
Within 12 months I could do limited 20-25WPM and was solid at around 15WPM. While I’m not on the air as often as I would like, after 2 years I’m solid enough at 17WPM that I can drive a car, and send Morse with my left hand at around 13-15WPM and receive and translate what I hear in my head. 20WPM isn’t far off
Hit me up if you want to know more.

I learned to write morse with visual mnemonics in like 20 minutes. You just have to memorize which letters dont have the consistent up-to-down writing order for the dots, that being I think 7 of them. The rest are consistent and easy to memorize as visualising the dots on the letters is pretty intuitive. I think its better than the word method because you only learn which letters are exceptions to the up-down order instead of having to memorize 26 phrases. Aside from that, its quicked to imagine a letter than to say the whole phrase in your mind

I got a question for anybody that may know... is there any way to decode Morse code that has zero Brakes in it, or pauses? I was given some sort of bracelet a while back and was told it's Morse code. (Pretty neat idea to be honest)
49 characters...i tried but, that's some next level stuff there. So if anyones up for a challenge. Could you maybe give it a look? The code is this down below, wrote it both ways cause i have no idea which way it went to begin with (i was told it meant "Wise".... To many characters for that im sure)
    ..--.-.....---.-..-----...-.-..-.-..........-..-.
    .-..-..........-.-..-.-...-----..-.---.....-.--..
