Espen more POV videos would be a good thing. For a moment there I thought I was in the canoe using the OM1.
    See you out there!

Great video, I'd be terrified of overturning and ruining that precious lens but I guess thats what insurance is for, and without the risk you don't get the shot. Recently picked up an E-M1X after being a Sony user for a few years now, and after a month or so of using Olympus I'm considering trading my A7IV in, to invest fully in the Olympus gear.

I did something very similar, bought an em1 m3 for walkaround and gradually sold off all my big canon gear. The freedom is real

I was recently surprised how close I could get to birds from a kayak. The different perspective and vantage points are worth the effort. Good for the soul as well. Thanks for bringing us along.

    Hi Essen Helland.
Would you like to see an all new OM-1X with 22.5 or 24 megapixel stacked sensor, and with an all image processor, and with larger dials and knobs to make the camera more easily operated in the cold, when one is wearing heavy winter gloves, when photography wildlife in the winter, can you please share your thoughts on such a camera?

Ill tempered, vicious, grain eating crap machines. But they’re sure pretty to shoot. Been there, done that.
Great video, I really enjoyed the POV perspective and you did it very well.

  • @marieta.s

I really enjoyed your video but I think the fact that you were in the water made it easy to watch due to the smooth and slow movement of the canoe. I have seen a walking pov video and I found it very tiring to watch because the person was walking fast and felt dizzying. Just something to take into consideration for future videos. By the way the nature was amazing!

I personally feel that camera manufacturers never consider how easy a camera is to operate when wearing winter gloves when take pictures with one’s camera, sick of freezing my fingers off in the middle of the winter so I can change focus and do other settings on my camera, why should we risk frostbite when operating our cameras? I think camera companies can do better by designing cameras more easily to be operated with gloves, or mitts on.

I don’t think that would be comfortable. Rather bring a tent and go on an island or along the shore.
