Once Ryuji learned about how much Ann, Mishima & Shiho were hurting because of that creep, Ryuji put his own gripes on the back burner to get justice for the others, but never forget that Kamoshida was responsible for busting up his knee. The girls bare the emotional scars of SA, grooming (and Shiho having to do extensive physical therapy after her attempt), but Ryuji’s always going to have physical pain too. To me, that makes the moments in the game where he pushes himself legs to run despite the pain (fleeing Palace 1, and the last Palace jump), it’s why he’s my favorite Phantom Thief.

Hi, I'm rewatching this again because Persona 5 is my comfort videogame franchise now. I lost a loved one to the prison system recently after they spent years in it, and playing the game helped me deal with the trauma as well as provided closure (especially the interrogation room because a related event IRL was the start of the madness). I really enjoyed this excellent selection, many of the memes here I hadn't seen before, so good job to Tion and the community! A few killed me, specially Leigh ones. She made me laugh so hard many times that I would make an entire special of her being a meme endlessly lmao. Her fight with Nyx was inhuman, the grind, the mental breakdowns... she's a natural at making fun material (even with some tears in the middle lol). The persona series is easily my all time favorite game series. The mainline games are incredible stories and characters and the spin offs are fun hangouts with old friends
