As Christians, we’ll be persecuted for spreading the Good News, but keep spreading it, Lilly!✝️. In this world, we’ll have tribulation, but we’ve overcome as Jesus did by ignoring hurt people and praying for them and blocking them, if necessary. I left the US in May 2021 and live in Bali. I actually grew stronger in Christ during this time. Not sure how long I’ll be here as I love to slow travel and spend months in a place, but the US isn’t home anymore due to the entitlement and so many other negative factors. As long as I put God before me, nothing will be against me and He’ll lead the way! May the Lord bless and keep you & He be gracious to you and His face shine on you. Hi Lilly. I, too, am an American expat living in Israel for more than 20 years. Living abroad is not easy. But returning to living in the US is not easy either. (I split my time between Israel and Manhattan). I love Koh Samui (as a tourist). And I know the pressures of being an immigrant. You are where you are because of who your are. Celebrate it! You are WAY more interesting than 99.9% of other humans on this planet. You have gorgeous children and live in a gorgeous place. That does not mean that life is EASY. Luv ya lots!

I’m 32 year old girl from South Georgia but the first time I seen your video I want to say it was like my Thai husband left me for a Thai woman or something and of course it catches people’s eyes but I’ve watched you grow a lot and share your experiences with us and I have to say after this video I really see that we have a lot in common I think most definitely not all but women change and see things differently in our 30s but not all people are bad I have pretty much no friends but I’m married with a 17 year old son and I make the best of it! Lilly, I am watching this video again. Lilly, I have always said that my heart is in Thailand. There are things I regret even today. If my marriage had finished 30 or 40 years ago. I could bounce back. When I came home from work one day. I only looked at bare walls in the whole house. There was not a stitch of furniture in any of the rooms. She even took the curtains from the house. I do not want to make any rash decisions about this property of mine. It took me a year to get this property. I believe that it was God that kept this property for me, and I am so very grateful to God. I honestly did not have a very good life. I always pleased my Ex and my kids. But in the end she got everything I worked so hard for. When I watch your videos. I am so happy for you. You have changed to better your life, and with 3 precious kids. All I can say you are blessed, and I wish you all the happiness. God Bless you Lilly. You deserve everything you work hard for.

Hi Lilly, I am an expat to Thailand too. In fact I have been living in Bangkok for over 22 years now. I am italian and despite feeling a little 'lost" or melanconic sometimes I never regret my choice of leaving Italy for good. Just as you the main reason I originally fell in love with Thailand was the sense of freedom that it gives you. The italian mentality was not for me. 22 years ago this country was a real paradise, now all has changed but it is still one of the best place to live. I too will move somewhere near the sea soon but I still not decided where, maybe the east coast. Bangkok gave me a lot but after so many years it is starting to be unbearable also for the costs. Ciao

Yes are so very right. People are only seeing a very short part of her day. The majority of her day is being a mother and wife. She has the added pressure of supporting her family right now. There’s billions of people on this planet, and they are some mean people out there, don’t bother what they say, just keep yourself in a close loop with people you love and care about, only what they say matters..
When my children were young, I had to drop them off at a daycare everyday for other people to care for them while I work. I missed out on a lot of their younger years because I had to support them. The job you hired Nam to do is no different except that you are with them much more than if you were taking them to a daycare. I am not sure why anyone has a problem with you working and having live in childcare. I wish I could have had that.

Life is much more simple in many ways, and generally people are happier with less of the material comforts we’re used to in the west! Very interesting. I think that I would have loved living there when I was younger. I lived in a very remote village in Alaska for a bit many years ago. It was primitive but also exciting. Getting food was an issue until I made friends. Going berry picking (salmon berries) with friends was very exciting!

I was telling my husband recently that at one time Thailand was considered 3rd world but seeing the city of Bangkok from your videos to me they seem more progressive than here in the states. Hotels there are amazing and every hotel/motels here are boring compared to Thailand. BTW- I've watched you interact with your kids and you are no different than American woman who work and drop their kids off at day care or a sitter. American woman all work now and when I was in my 30's all the woman who had kids met together and had trips, pool days, park play days, etc. We watched all our kids grow up. There were a few woman who had side businesses like Mary Kay or Tupperware but our job was raising our kids. You are home everyday and likely interact more with your kids than the one who posted that awful comment. I've never seen you do anything that bothered me or could be considered neglect. Haters will be haters.

Lilly, I am watching this video again. Lilly, I have always said that my heart is in Thailand. There are things I regret even today. If my marriage had finished 30 or 40 years ago. I could bounce back. When I came home from work one day. I only looked at bare walls in the whole house. There was not a stitch of furniture in any of the rooms. She even took the curtains from the house. I do not want to make any rash decisions about this property of mine. It took me a year to get this property. I believe that it was God that kept this property for me, and I am so very grateful to God. I honestly did not have a very good life. I always pleased my Ex and my kids. But in the end she got everything I worked so hard for. When I watch your videos. I am so happy for you. You have changed to better your life, and with 3 precious kids. All I can say you are blessed, and I wish you all the happiness. God Bless you Lilly. You deserve everything you work hard for.

Hi Lilly, I am an expat to Thailand too. In fact I have been living in Bangkok for over 22 years now. I am italian and despite feeling a little 'lost" or melanconic sometimes I never regret my choice of leaving Italy for good. Just as you the main reason I originally fell in love with Thailand was the sense of freedom that it gives you. The italian mentality was not for me. 22 years ago this country was a real paradise, now all has changed but it is still one of the best place to live. I too will move somewhere near the sea soon but I still not decided where, maybe the east coast. Bangkok gave me a lot but after so many years it is starting to be unbearable also for the costs. Ciao

There’s billions of people on this planet, and they are some mean people out there, don’t bother what they say, just keep yourself in a close loop with people you love and care about, only what they say matters..
When my children were young, I had to drop them off at a daycare everyday for other people to care for them while I work. I missed out on a lot of their younger years because I had to support them. The job you hired Nam to do is no different except that you are with them much more than if you were taking them to a daycare. I am not sure why anyone has a problem with you working and having live in childcare. I wish I could have had that.

Life is much more simple in many ways, and generally people are happier with less of the material comforts we’re used to in the west! Very interesting. I think that I would have loved living there when I was younger. I lived in a very remote village in Alaska for a bit many years ago. It was primitive but also exciting. Getting food was an issue until I made friends. Going berry picking (salmon berries) with friends was very exciting!

I was telling my husband recently that at one time Thailand was considered 3rd world but seeing the city of Bangkok from your videos to me they seem more progressive than here in the states. Hotels there are amazing and every hotel/motels here are boring compared to Thailand. BTW- I've watched you interact with your kids and you are no different than American woman who work and drop their kids off at day care or a sitter. American woman all work now and when I was in my 30's all the woman who had kids met together and had trips, pool days, park play days, etc. We watched all our kids grow up. There were a few woman who had side businesses like Mary Kay or Tupperware but our job was raising our kids. You are home everyday and likely interact more with your kids than the one who posted that awful comment. I've never seen you do anything that bothered me or could be considered neglect. Haters will be haters.

First I have to say that you're so brave for having the courage to walk out of your old life. I know many people who aren't happy with their relationship but don't dare leave. Also, I totally get it when you said that hurtful comments really get you down coz a friend of mine said I should be a vlogger but I said no coz I know I won't be able to take negative comments. Anyway, keep doing what you're doing and don't worry about the religion thing coz even though I'm not Christian, it's totally cool with me.
