I asked God one day Who do you want me to be? He said "Just be yourself". That concerned me. Someone said God see's who you are going to be, not who you see today.
If you aren't who you are, you will never develop into who He wants you to grow to be. Come as you are, but know you will change as he cleans you up and develops you. Honesty helps you to actually address things with Him in your life.

Jesus protect my children both of my sons are special needs. I’m overwhelmed because I’m on my own as a single mother. My husband passed many years ago. I have no one to turn to, but God. Heavenly Father. Give me strength as I struggle to buy groceries, and as I struggle to pay rent every month is a struggle and I’m in fear of losing my home. Please keep my sons safe and protect us from the evil ones of this world. 💕

See, thing is Brooke, I do not quote verbatim (I have my reasons but with good intentions). Paul, mentioned in his letters... mainly where he went and before he left words of wisdom. In Phil for example Paul said the things he lost is because of Christ but then goes on to say why he considered those things rubbish. Being a humble man, he said to look ahead and let the past be in the past. Paul always used himself and what he endured he will because he knew Christ and the power of the resurrection that resulted from the far great suffering Christ endured.
But I will never forget the one thing which he said "AND if you THINK differently about ANYHING, God will show you HOW TO THINK" (think the third verse - yes in Philippians).
What many many or may not know how much Paul suffered, from being in prison to being dealt 39 lashes (Romans thought 40 would kill a man) to being adrift almost dying of thirst and so on. See if you know the biblical narrative well enough you know the broader context and how CRITICAL the Gospel of the Cross is (IT IS CRUCIAL and I cannot stress this enough). I don't care if people read what I say or not. My comment is enough even if after I post it only for it to be remove by yt, since none of that is up to me
