the biggest issue i have with this build is that, this isnt an oberon build, this is a generic immortal infinite shield regen build that you put on oberon. and sure, it works, but i feel like it would work on pretty much any frame you use it on so long they have shields.
I think viral tempest is an amazing choice for this. Pairs great with his hallowed ground. I've also never seen anyone go so hard into shield regen. I'd imagine it's even better with Gauss' passive.
What about a straight dps focused build? I still want renewal to work wonders, but I also want to melt enemies with abilities. Weapons yes, but wanna be able to rely on them
tested this build w/o pet, this isn't viable, heavily depends on aegis (arcane) and guardian proc (from naut) don't get me wrong, i do enjoy his videos, tot i just that this build isn't for all

It's really cool to see some content about Oberon, his nature/druid concept is cool. However : - it's pretty sad to be cornered into playing shieldgating for survivability when a good part of his kit is about health-tanking (nothing you can do about it i think, just old design), also not really being able to use his in-buillt armorstrip (leaning on shards and helminth) mostly because his kit would also need a QoL on that part (cool it exists but impractical) - the "featured clips" at the beginning feel a bit forced with a focus on short windowed procs / durations of aegis, rolling guard, and guardian shell. An uncut sample would have been nice to showcase the overall gameplay and not just the "tanking highlights". Might not be youtube friendly content wise though. - while it is a "9999 guide" and madurai shouldn't be relevant, the level cap shorts are in cascade and you don't say a word about handling the lack of madurai with the vazarin explanation part (not using madurai could kinda be done but i wouldn't advise it for people needing guides in the first place, at least not without adressing it). Still, it's nice to see sharing some "modern" shieldgating as it is really effective. Love the energy and passion nonetheless, props to you :).

using same setup (fast deflection + vig vigor + arcane aegis + vazarin) and result is same

good endgame build, very impressive, but the fact that its a shield tank Oberon it triggers me as a health tank cc Oberon main

Normal Sure Footed+Fortitude=primed sure footed + 100% shield recharge, which slots perfectly in this build imho if you don't have PSF
standing on hallowed ground gives you status immunity which includes being affected by knockdowns.

Can using normal redirection work still cause I don't have that but got everything else there in the build.
adaption work on shield now, so....i think adaption is better choice than rolling guard
also, hallowed ground makes you immune to status .
