2 Artists from two Turkic tribes met here to make a kind of ancient turkic music with old Turkic instruments. I am Turkish and understand everything that Ummet Özcan sings (he sings about ancient deities from Turkic mythology in a very ancient Turkish dialect). I also understand some words that Otyken members sing, such as “dağlar” (mountains), even though both tribes have become geographically distant from each other over thousands of years.Their languages, which have the same origin, have also developed independently of one another. But the instruments that are played here are known to all Turkic peoples, such as the "ikili" which refers to the number 2 (iki in Türkiye) because the instrument has 2 strings. The Turkish Bağlama/Saz is similar to the ikili but has 6 - 7 strings. The area around the Altay Mountains (in Russia) is the original home of many Turkic tribes and Otyken (Ötüken) is the legendary first capital of all Turkic people. This area is sacred to most Turkic tribes. Many Turkish ethnic groups live in Asia and what is now Russia, especially in Sibia. Some of these tribes migrated to North America thousands of years ago, when the Bering Strait was still icy, and became residents there. They are the ancestors of many indigenous tribes in America.These Turkic clans discovered America long before Columbus. The way Özcan sings is called throat singing and is a traditional way of singing among the Turkic and Mongolian peoples. The are very diversified in music; their first musics have very folkloric influence: Lord of Honey, Steps, Kilakacha*, Legend*, Storm*, Genesis, Paradise Lost, Pulse*, Revolution Percusion; later the rock folk style predominate, with Wild Girls - native jazz of Siberia*, My Wing•, Smoke*, Pulse (very hypnotic)•, Phenomenon•, and also a short experience in pure rock with Khan Blues. Altay is a Russian republic southeastern of Siberia. They will launch a new son next december 20.

Otyken are a Siberian folk rock native group from Krasnoyark. The are very diversified in music; their first musics have very folkloric influence: Lord of Honey, Steps, Kilakacha*, Legend*, Storm*, Genesis, Paradise Lost, Pulse*, Revolution Percusion; later the rock folk style predominate, with Wild Girls - native jazz of Siberia*, My Wing•, Smoke*, Pulse (very hypnotic)•, Phenomenon•, and also a short experience in pure rock with Khan Blues. Altay is a Russian republic southeastern of Siberia. They will launch a new son next december 20.
