I’m mainly surprised there is a 20 storey car park lol. I kinda feel like these lifts are a bit ineffective for this many floors. Especially how Oronas tend to have questionable reliability and having one lift serving all floors and one serving evens doesn’t really seem to be a very effective lift arrangement although these lifts don’t seem very busy. these lifts are definitely quite interesting but they should’ve done two sets of 2 lifts I think. The other lift is definitely the fireman’s lift
i was waiting for ages on 0 to get the all floors one back XD these are quite busy at times, they should have chosen something better built for this many floors tho
I find it odd a car park is even that tall. Even though Oronas are nice, an Orona going this high is not great as they are quite low rise feeling lifts. But in general, MRL lifts going this tall is not great. Is this in a busy shopping district since it is so tall?
There's a link on my channel page to a map of lifts that I have filmed. You can use that to work out the location of this car park relative to other stuff in sheffield (because I can't remember right now XD)
Well, in saying that, I know a carpark in Auckland that goes up 20 floors as well (2 is the exit & 20 is the top floor so it’s technically 19 floors), and one of the elevators is a KONE MonoSpace MRL.
i still find it weird they had one even floor lift and one all floor lift instead of two all floor lifts given how busy they can get but i guess its what they could fit into the design to maximise the amount of parking spaces available. maybe another time you'll get to see the even floors only lift
@@ZZ9ProductionsOFFICIAL well im going back to sheffield again with my nan and we are going back to my favourite cat park that goes 20 floors. but i am definitely going to get the two lifts in there.
they need the all floors lift as a fireman's lift but the extra even one doesn't make sense - unless they couldn't modify the building design to fit it in they could have just had a pair of all-floor lifts

I've been in one lift that goes up to all floors and the other one was out of service when me and my nan walked out of the Carpark.

@@uktv05 definitely worth getting a ride, its certainly not often you find an orona with this many buttons inside
4:46 Ooh listen to the doors lock!
clickety clickety locks
@@ZZ9ProductionsOFFICIAL that's the truth!
Those screeches, was that the motor, or the car?
my guess is that its the track wheels/shoes against the lift tracks but i'm not sure
@@ZZ9ProductionsOFFICIAL I posted a question on skyscrapersim assistance and lift shop.
Nice elevator

So um brand new orona elevator
These aren't brand new lifts
I personally don't like when they have an even / odd lift and all floors lift
I think they should have odd lift , even lift and all floors lift
they need the all floors lift as a fireman's lift but the extra even one doesn't make sense - unless they couldn't modify the building design to fit it in they could have just had a pair of all-floor lifts
yeah
G to 5
These serve G to 18 and G to 19
