- Hi all, welcome to my build of the Titanic.
In today's video we assemble the stand and its supports and test fit it to the ship. There are at least 2 more issues until the stand is fully complete but the ship can be rested on it after stage 104.

I am now officially impressed with this build, having 2 modes of power source Hachette have really outdone themselves on this build.

Wow! I am on a cruise right now and will get back to my build once I am home again. Stand is amazing. Nice seeing what is coming later in my build. I am at the halfway mark.

When you get to Eddie Stobart John, that curtain would have been better if it was made from woven material and not a rubberised material, it’s horrible to handle. I suggest when completed doing the bits to it roll it up gently and put out the way as your going to need for awhile…..

Hi I found even with the screw's tighten as far as I could the stands are still rocking
Use a larger screwdriver to tighten them further. 👍

I like this stand better than the Bismarck one. More streamlined and less clunky. Being able to power this ship with a USB is a welcome sight!

@@JohnsModelmaking I got the Partwork Upgrades power mod for the Bismarck because I just knew it would chew up batteries like crazy…
Hi john was your support 1 a bit loose when you connected it to the board ? Mine was I am assuming it is meant to be slightly loose to protect the cables ? Thanks Tim .
Initially as in the video I tightened the screws with a larger head screwdriver to make it stable. Watch my video. :)

I'm curious if it's possible to convert this beauty to an RC ship. By somehow sealing the hull seams, setting up more powerful engines, bigger propellers, whatever... And if it's not too heavy for that, of course.

This ship has a very heavy, metal hull. It’s doubtful that it will float :-(

Shouldn't the power connections face the back of the stand so when you add the name plate it will not interfere with the plugs, just saying.

one of the holes in my stand was very poorly drilled
so support 2 wouldn't fit in the hole
had to drill the hole myself.
It does happen every now and then, but at least you sorted it. :)

Can anybody say if the display case is an extra you buy at the end or will it come as one of the parts thanks
The case is the premium subscription £1 extra per issue, which is delivered at the end of the build. 👍
