How do you know if it's cooked well enough?..to prevent over cooking
You have to taste it and make sure you taste any row flour taste.

I tried it but did not get color and taste like millet. I bought millet and milled it myself
Oh really? But do you know there's different types of millet right? Or you got this same type
@@Fauziamoula I got the green one. But I ve realized that anytime I ferment millet it does give me the taste I desire so I normally do overnight but with this I did the three days. It tasted like banku with all the spices in it

This is good but long method, you can make it in a day without the fermentation.
True if don't really care about the sour taste and you can even substitute that with some natural yogurt 👍
