TBH it's one of the most dangerous roads in Poland. Maybe Tricity Bypass, A4 Krzyżowa-Wrocław, DK16 Mrągowo-Mikołajki-Ełk, or Warsaw roads compare in any way. The amount of dangerous zebra crossings and fast-driving cars on this road is enormous. Pity that yet they haven't agreed to any project of S7 from Kraków to Myślenice, it would help a lot to make this road safe.
There are across plenty of time under consideration social consultation about future corridor for new S7 between junction Kraków-Bieżanów and Myślenice. I really don't know when could be estabilished a final project for that extension. The reason are protests by local societies and community goverments against every proposed tracks.
Additionally, area between Kraków and Myślenice is an urban-sprawl area with many brand new housing estates. Many of new inhabitans, which moved there from city of Kraków, are confused that new road could obligue them to leave their houses or decrease expecting living standard (enviroment, landscape etc.).
