    at point B y we taking 3KN as possitive as it is on the left of the point B nd acting downwords. as sign convention says any force acting downwards to the left of point while calcuating Sf should be treated negative

      You're right 3 must be negetive and the answer will be i.e SF at B will be 4.5 not 7.5

    a beam of span l is fixed at one end & simply supported at other end. it carries uniformly distributed load of w per unit run over the whole span. the reaction at the simply supported end is what ?

      He found reactions and shear force and finally moment at last...you can find bending moment only from the right on case of cantilever beam

      Udl is inbetween C and D . So this udl will not produce moment for the distance between D and E . Therefore we take only the distance (ie half of 2m = 1m )

    In maximum bending moment u did wrong.. the forces should be negative as the sign convention is negative not positive (anti clockwise)

      Becoz from right to left at free end of beam the distance is 0
      Bending moment =load ×distance
      = Load what ever will be ×distance 0=0
      Anything multiple by 0=0
